However, the mixed mandi was disappointing. It didn’t taste authentic — it honestly felt like eating boiled chicken, lamb, and plain rice. The chicken wasn’t good, the lamb lacked flavor, and the rice was bland. For $50, it wasn’t worth the price.

We always visit Monasaba Restaurant whenever we’re craving mandi. The staff are very welcoming, and Tasneem is especially amazing!
I had a dine in experience. The food is exemplary. Extremely flavorful and well-cooked. The service is ok however I did have to remind the waiter of some missing items.
The only reason I gave 3 stars is that the place is crammed. The owners are trying to maximize the number of tables and customers in a tight place tha just does not support that many people. It is extremely inconvenient. The lanes between the tables are tight.
Will I come back ? Yes the food makes up for the lack of comfort. It is a must try Yemeni traditional food experience.
