Montana’s BBQ & Bar

I love Montanas, I went to the Courtney Park location to celebrate Father's Day with my sons . We were greeted by the host and were seated. Waiting for about 10-15 mins and then our server came to take our orders and we asked for the “All You Can Eat Ribs”. That's when the server told us that they don't have anymore Ribs. We were upset and the server said that the Host should've told us. We promptly left and when for dinner elsewhere. Montana's makes the best Ribs, I just wished I had a better experience.

The firecracker burger is the best thing on the menu. The best thing not on the menu? Shannon’s service, she was so thoughtful and caring making sure my pregnant self had everything I needed.

2nd time here this week and both times it's been as good as I would expect from Montana's
Tonight I had Shannon as my server and she was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed

Shannon was great. Just stopped in for a pint to do some work and she was super attentive and everything arrived like a flash!

Disgusting for the salad was wilted had to sent it back. For some reason steak tasted like liver. Even after paying and commenting to server he didn't give much feedback. Sides are very tiny. Like a spoon size. My stomach was ill all night from the poor taste. Just very substandard. No way going beck. Server never came around to ask how things were. Montanas has downgraded.

i have been a customer of the Courtney Park location for a long while. Always was happy with food and service. Not this time. - a terrible $200 experience for the 3 of us. From waiting 35 minutes for first platter to come out then another 10 for the 3rd meal. Food was barely warm but didn't want to wait another half hour to get replaced - that would be if we could even find our waiter as he never seemed to be anywhere around. We asked different servers for water 3 times but never got any. Desert took more than 30 minutes to come out. and then only after we asked another server to cancel it and give us our bill. To top it off there were no paper towels inn either washroom. We and our friends will never return to that location.

We went on an All You Can Eat Rib night Wednesday March12,2025. I had requested that we get a booth in a quieter, well lit area however a good portion of the restaurant was not being used as there was only one server, a bartender and the hostess. Our server was AMAZING especially considering the circumstances for the evening. They could have closed the restaurant however he preferred to stay open and just let people know what was going on. From what I could tell, the crowd seemed both reasonable and patient. The food tasted great and we didn't have to wait extremely longer, maybe just slightly longer than usual. There were 3 disturbing things: Why do they book only one server on a all you can rib night; why did they run out of ribs? ... my boyfriend only had one serving; why did they run out of chocolate cake? They restaurant received a food order that day so it was concerning that a major food item they were out of and I think they only have 2 desserts and were out of one??? Our server felt so bad. He offered to just charge us for a regular rib plate of offer something else so chicken wings were it. My boyfriend enjoyed them and they were pretty big wings...think he had 10. I was offered another cornbread as well...best cornbread in my opinion. So although, the food and the service were not what we would have expected, we would both have to say that this was by far our best experience ever at this location of Montana's. Our server again was so amazing that we left a really good tip and were happy to do so. He wanted us to come back another time so we could actually experience what a good night with him would be lol. Oh ya, it was really nice to see that the staff worked so well together even under the immense stress and pressure. Having a good team makes a world of difference. We will be back and hopefully then I will remember his name and ask to be put in his section.

Montana's always deliver a very good meal, at a reasonable price with good service. Thank you :)
