Moxies Square One Restaurant

The food was fine and a good value. What impressed us most, though, was the incredibly friendly and efficient service.

Upon entry to the restaurant, we were received with courtesy and class. Our server and support staff, treated us with absolute respect and hospitality. Food was absolutely delicious, with attention to detail of the presentation of our dish. Excellent food, and superior quality of service.

My best restaurant experience no doubt. The service since the door to my table was incredible. These guys made feel welcomed. Rebecca the Mgr walked through the restaurant options with such a grace and walked me to the table. She didn't rush me into anything and was actually pleased with all the questions I asked her. By the time the waiter Michelle came to take my order, I was super ready and excited with the food I ordered - a first for me. And they delivered. ..... soooo delicious! It was one of their signature pasta the chicken madeira rigatoni! What an experience + they have a Happy hour discount for tour drink if you arrive after 9pm. Listen! I don't know if you guys feel the service in Canada is not like before but this Moxie at Square One gave me hope. Just go and see it yourself! I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Moxies Square One location. I called multiple times to place a phone order and was left on hold for over 15 minutes. So I decided to visit the restaurant in person. Upon arrival, I spoke to the host, who informed me she had checked with both the bar and the manager, but still, no one addressed my issue.

At the bar, I encountered two female bartenders who were engrossed in a conversation. I said hello, but they completely ignored me, which I found unprofessional as customer service should be a priority. I had to raise my voice to get their attention and explained how long I’d been waiting on the phone, only to be met with indifference.

This location’s service is shockingly slow and unprofessional. I strongly recommend avoiding the Square One Moxies and visiting any other location instead.

Steak frites is the best!

If you're looking for a quality dining experience at Square One with a diverse menu, strong service, and a fun atmosphere, Moxies is a dependable option. I always enjoyed my time dining with my fav dishes like the mango chicken, blackened mahi mahi and Rigatoni Madeira, and their tasty appi. If you prefer quieter evenings, an earlier or off-peak visit might be your best bet.

This was my second time back at Moxie's Square One in less than just a week, and it was just as amazing as the first time this week. The food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The whipped feta with tomatoes and warm bread is such a standout starter... creamy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. The steak was cooked perfectly and paired so well with the chimichurri and crispy fries. The service has been consistently excellent, friendly, attentive, and quick without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special catch-ups. So glad I came back again so soon, and I'll definitely be returning!
