Mr Bigs Restaurant never disappoints! The staff are kind and welcoming, and the service is always excellent. The food is flavourful, delicious, and tastes like it’s made with care every time. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Jamaican food!

I was so glad that I stopped by this restaurant today (December 5, 2025). I had just had a medical procedure done and I had not eaten anything for more than 30 hours. We ordered jerk chicken, oxtail and fried chicken meals. The food was well presented and they actually had some salad included! The meals were super-delicious and ample.
Halfway through my meal, I started having severe stomach pains. I quickly realized they were gas pains because of the length of time I had to fast before my procedure. A Good Samaritan noticed that I wasn’t feeling well and came and asked me if he could help. Would you believe these very kind people made me chai tea at no cost? I was so thankful because as soon as I started to sip the hot tea, the pains began to dissipate. A good sign of a successful business is when they haven’t forgotten the importance of the human touch. There are still some good people in this world!
I highly recommend Mr. Big’s. A+ for their hospitality and A++ for the cleanliness of the washroom. A+++ for the quick and efficient delivery of the food to customers and A++++ for the delicious food and nice ambience!

I received food poisoning from having the jerk chicken, ackee and saltfish and red pea soup. Woke up @ 3:35am from horrible stomach pains and had to force myself to vomit TWICE in order to feel better. I knew to question from the size portion of the ackee and saltfish alone which cost me $16. Picture included. Missed an entire day of work due to this mess. When I called in to complain the owner (Natasha) disregarded me in saying “no one else complained” and didn’t even apologize. Called a second time to speak with the owner and she claimed it to be her and then GASLIGHTED me in saying she apologized and a customer overheard her. Like really? WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Do yourself a favour and go literally ANYWHERE ELSE than here.
