For our Spring Festival family reunion dinner, we chose Gao Laozhuang Restaurant Mississauga, and it was absolutely amazing👍👍👍! The dishes are exquisite and diverse, perfect in color, aroma and taste, with great value for money! The restaurant has an elegant ambiance, making our New Year's Eve meal a comfortable and truly delightful experience~

Their barbecue is also incredibly popular: fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked over fire, with a wide variety of options – simply delicious! The chefs here are so skilled. We’ll definitely be back next time~💃💫💃💫

Pregnant customer got food poisoning from the BBQ with stomachache and frequent diarrhea after eating the BBQ. Despite putting a note to ask the BBQ food to be fully cooked as one customer is pregnant, the pregnant customer still got food poisoning on Feb 17 at 3pm. This is the first and only restaurant that caused food poisoning for a pregnant customer.

Went here 2 weeks ago and since then have been there 2 more times. The egg fried rice is delicious had that taste I'm looking for. Chilli chicken is so good crispy pairs well with the rice. Second time trying soup dumplings, very good tasty had the juicy pork and pork shrimp and scallops. Bbq pork buns always a fan favourite. Definitely a must try place tons of delicious options. Had dine in and take out taste the same.

Mr. Gao is one of our favorite places!. We’ve been there a few times and the food is always amazing. The skewers, soups, noodles, and dumplings are all so flavorful and fresh. We’ll definitely be back

I brought my family and friends for the dinner, I can’t image my 2 kids like the food, cause bring them to another restaurant they almost play the food and not eat, they likes lamb kebab and vegi fried rice, I am so happy they can eat so much, price not expensive, employees and service are good.

I was truly impressed. The food was very delicious. This was a totally different experience that I'm used to. I loved the presentation and the server. Awesome, awesome, awesome! Very large menu with lots of different options. I will definitely be back!

They have the best skewers!! Highly recommend the lamb skewers (you can even adjust spice level) and the beef rice noodle clay pot. Service is great and prices are great!

The best squid dish and prawn wonton soup I have ever had!

Lots of squid, lots of veggies, amazing soup broth, delicious prawn.

Lovely clean, pretty place. Great lighting.
Lovely staff.

Wifi available. Relaxed atmosphere. People come and stay a while when not busy.

I personally always have had a great experience at this location here in Mississauga. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing and the food hits that spicy craving. Especially the skewers and the mapo tofu with rice. Those are my personal favorites. I usually come here with a small group of friends and it's always been a great time. I highly recommend it.

I really like the soup dumplings here. It's the best in the city.

However, there needs to be improvements in everything else. We waited an hour for food that never came. We were also served raw dumplings.

Please don't ever change the way you do the soup dumplings.
