Was an excellent breakfast so sad that this place is closing this week after being open since 1978. Too bad because the staff were great and the food was fantastic.

My family and I decided to go for breakfast this morning one last time before they closed. The host was extremely rude and abusive to customers and his staff. Openly berating and yelling at them - telling them to leave, screaming, among other things. When I told the host that his yelling is unnerving, he told me to call his boss and told me “yeah so?” . The staff wouldn’t say whether he was the manager or what…but they too felt that he was abusive. I’ve never witnessed that type of behaviour from a boss in a restaurant. Don’t bother going one last time. Any good memory you have of this restaurant will be ruined by this man. I feel terribly sorry for the staff and hope they call the Ministry of Labour to report his abuse.

This place holds a very warm and dear place in my heart. From 1987 onwards, it was my mom and dad’s special spot where they had their Friday night “Date Nights” (which being the youngest kid I tried to always tag along. Sometimes successful!) It was where ALL of our celebrations were, my mom’s coffee group that I would crash, Easter Brunch buffets. My godmother, Auntie Lynn took me there for the first time when I turned 11 (35 YEARS AGO!!!!!!) She and my uncle Rudi got me a r

Luis and the tremendous staff at the Muddy Duck. I would like to say a great big heartfelt thank you for all your wonderful brunches over the years. After all my years of having brunch, everyone made me feel like family. Everyone is so friendly, kind, going above and beyond duty, and very much supporting our wonderful group on a monthly basis. Our group have very much enjoyed your friendly hospitality, hard work, and dedication in ensuring we had the best early dinner and great menu over the years. We were shocked, especially myself, that the October group dinner was our last one. Good luck to the staff and you, Luis, in finding opportunity in the same field or may be retiring. I am so sorry that COVID has forced you to permanently shut down. You will be incredibly missed by our group and I will miss your fantastic brunches I have come to love and enjoy. A couple of people personally loved your brunches too! Excellent selection of brunch items and seconds too! Initially, I remember my mother and I came to Muddy Duck well before I knew the group--both parents were very much alive and kicking! We came in for a snack after a long period of shopping. I can't remember the snack and it was my very first time at the Muddy Duck. Mother & Dad were there a few times before. At this time, parting is such sweet sorrow. We hope that sometime in the future, post-COVID, you may reopen! In the meantime, many, many thank you's and hopefully we will see each other somewhere. With sincere love to you all, Jennifer Brown

Wonderful to see that they have the breakfast buffet back and care enough about their customers to have servers for buffet. 15.00 all you can eat amazing deal. Thank-you duck for swimming back from the covid mess.

Always drive by this restaurant and finally decided to try it, wasn’t seated right away and when I asked to be seated away from others I was told there’s only one table available and there was only 4 tables full… the guy then told me if you don’t like it bye and walked away. I was left standing in the front very confused. Never treat people with disrespect, I will not be giving this place my business.

Great food and friendly employees. My friend had food restrictions and they accommodated his needs . I was surprised the buffet was open and very cost friendly. Will recommend to my friends and family.

Went for brunch, apparently it was the "buffet" but no buffet could be spotted, they said it was because of covid. They just had a guy who could make omelets. The carpet was very dirty, the French toast was really bad. The food tasted stale, my wife's pancakes were cold and pre-made. Nothing good to say this place has gone downhill, not sure what happened it used to be a good place some years ago.

I love this place. Not many all you can eat breakfast places left. It’s not cheap yess I know but it’s not something you can do all the time lol unless you want to put on some weight. You get your money worth if get up for more then one plate. They have fruit ,pastries, cold cut meats and cheese, bacon, pancakes, fresh waffles you can make in the spot among other things. You always treated great . Food is amazing I get fresh orange juice every time and the omelette omg. They even have turkey bacon. If you go before 9 am it’s cheaper in the weekend. Coffee and tea are included. So are fresh squeezed juices.Update Was there august 21 2021 and buffet is smaller due to covid but amazing and only 15 per person must try
