Food was a bit on the pricier side but the dumplings, kalguksu and kimchi were delicious. You could taste the difference of freshly made/pulled dumplings and noodles

I’ve never been so amazed at a restaurant ever, everything was absolutely delicious. I literally ATE everything IT WAS THAT GOOD!!! I highly recommend the bossam set you will not regret!!!

I had the beef bulgogi set. Delicious meal with beef bulgogi, rice, a big portion of kimchi & beef broth with noodles. Loved it! Missing the banchan but it was really good.

UPDATE May 2025:
Still top notch in terms of flavor and service. Their fresh kimchi are just so balanced in flavor and go well with their dishes. They may get quite busy during lunch/dinner times.

Very attentive and lovely lady, she came a few times to check up on us. Food was good, quite authentic Korean. But the fresh kimchi was so good, none of those harsh acidic factory made kimchi. Overall good experience, will definitely come back again for other dishes.

We are very satisfied with the food and most especially their service even they were so busy because of Mother’s Day. Servers are all awesome! We are all well taken care of. We didn’t have to say that we need refill for Kimchi and tea. They right away filled them up. Food….also delicious and satisfying! We will definitely come back to try other kinds of food. Well done!!!

Always a treat when we dine out at Myungdong. Our go to choice for dinner is the beef Shabu hot pot, plenty of vegetables and meat, along with noodles and porridge made fresh after. The dumplings are a staple go to on the menu for appetizer...... Lots of lunch options as well with cold Buckwheat noodles. The seafood pajeon personally was not a favourite but to each their own...

Staff are friendly, fast service and food is always on point. Recommended for a great dining experience of Korean food. ?

Me and my girlfriend decided to come here for dinner and I decided to try the black bean noodles in which they were soggy and mushy so I wanted to replace it and get another meal one lady then said oh no but she will ask the manager. She came back and said there’s no manager in the back which I found was strange. I try to explain the situation to one of the other servers which looked like she owned the establishment and then she said it’s not there fault I didn’t like the taste and then was ignoring me and walking away from me I placed the noodles on there cart and then was talking to my gf about the situation and then she walked up to our table and began to be disrespectful towards me before we left they didn’t take it off the bill and she called me crazy for asking if they could take it back and continued arguing although I was done with the situation and was just upset waiting for my gf to finish her food. Overall would not recommend this place the customer service is atrocious.

One of the better Korean restaurants in the area. Really enjoyed their freshly made kimchi. It's more on the sweeter side but nice and crunchy, and be bought separately. I wasn't a huge fan of the beef noodles soup broth as I thought it was very peppery but everything else I liked.

Starting off with the food, we were slightly disappointed. The bossam set was really good and the pork belly with the sauces were delicious. I do wish they gave more vegetables to eat with it. We were only given 2 pieces of lettuce and 2 pieces of napa cabbage to eat as a wrap. The spicy seafood soup was okay, it was actually spicy which was a pleasant surprise! Sometimes restaurants don’t make it really spicy but I was glad this was. I feel like the menu photo was a bit misleading because it looked like there would be a lot of seafood in the bowl but there wasn’t really. There was 1 mussel. 2 shrimps and small pieces of squid. The noodles were amazing though! Like seriously the best texture and it was amazing with the broth. The MD mandu was the biggest disappointment because we were the most excited for it. Both my partner and I found the texture of the filling to be a bit off. Yes the portions were huge and it was cooked perfectly juicy, but something about the meat filling was mushy and texture felt like it was raw but it 100% cooked - not raw at all it was cooked so we were confused! I did like how the kimchi came in a big jar and was self-served because I love having kimchi with every bite. Now the service…we came before the dinner rush and even then the service was very short and blunt. But that is typical of these types of establishments. But I did see the table next to us who were Korean were receiving really friendly service and the server kept checking on them to make sure they were satisfied…lol…It started to get really busy so we were trying to pack our leftovers and pay our bill but none of the servers were paying attention to us haha eventually we got their attention and they quickly rushed us out. It was the dinner rush so I won’t penalize them that much but still. I feel like the service could have been better and more fair (if you know what I mean).

The korean food is so good here and authentic. The kimchi is also very fresh as well. I am surprised I did not write a review earlier as my partner and I come here often. The staff is soooo kind and sweet. I would highly recommend checking it out here. You won't be disappointed!
