My friend and I went for lunch and omg!... The flavors are immaculate and rich. We tried over half of the menu and the portion sizes were very generous for a reasonable price. Overall, everything was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

My first time to visit this Location at the mall. I bought a bit of everything. The Jellof rice was so delicious, the moi moi was one of its kind, well-seasoned also the chillin assorted beef is my favorite. You guys will see me soon as my kids are requesting for the white rice and red stew with plantain.

The food at the Westwood Mall location has gone from bad to worse. The last few times I've been here since last year I would buy a number of things and they're always very stingy when it comes to meat and overall portions, then too much salt, and the level of pepper is another thing. I bought pounded yam and egusi soup last year in August and found two small rectangular shaki and one small beef inside the egusi. I thought the egusi the lady gave me was small and had to ask her to put more and she was trying to tell me she had given me enough only for me to get home and found those little pieces of meat inside. The egusi itself turned out to be salty, so I didn't enjoy it and the two little shaki were very hard to bite into or eat. Idk why you cannot cook meat properly that people can bite. This was just a disappointing meal that I couldn't finish. I went back in October and this time bought okro soup and poundo and the soup was both salty and spicy (peppery). It was not enjoyable at all, as I could not finish it due to the salt and pepper. I didn't go back after that day but just went back two days ago (2/19/2025) and bought okro soup and poundo, and let me tell you the okro soup had so much pepper insider that I had to drink over 2 litres of water with it. The stupid food itself I could not finish because of the pepper. If you're the owner and you're reading this, you need to do something about this. Idk who the heck is cooking the food and pouring a gallon of pepper in them. This is ridiculous, disgusting, disturbing and quite frankly, dangerous at this point. STOP WITH THE EXCESSIVE PEPPER IN THE FOOD!!!! STOP STOP STOP STOP STOPPPPPPP!!!! I went to the bathroom several times yesterday purging and I'm sure the excessive spicy pepper I ate had a lot to the with it. The okro soup itself was also quite dry, which was unlike the previous okro soup I've bought here that were juicy and well cooked. I also bought assorted meat and omg, the pepper in this one was also excessive!!! Why?!!! Idk if whoever cooks the meals thinks they're cooking for themselves. That you love 10 gallons of pepper in your food does not mean your customers will. Put your customers into consideration. The meats inside were also cut very small. I bought moi moi as well and the taste of that has also changed (doesn't taste as good of the ones I bought last year). Lest I forgot, the guy who served me didn't give me pounded yam. The lady there with him was serving me first and the first thing I told her I wanted was pounded yam and okro soup but instead of her to serve me she left and went to the back and the guy took over. I did not realize he hadn't packed pouded yam for me. I got home and found no pounded yam in the bag and had to make my own swallow, only for me to not enjoy the soup because of the okro soup that was loaded with pepper. I would give 0 star if I could because the food here and customer service are awful. The excessive pepper in the food is ludicrous. The food here tasted the best in winter summer 2024 and before then (I went a few times in 2023 and have no complaints). There was a darkskinned young guy (he looked like a college student) that was there and a petite darkskinned lady. Both were very pleasant and fair in the portions they give, not to mention the food tasted very good, no excessive salt, no issues at all. I stopped seeing them there and since then, it has been stinginess, too much salt, and buckets of pepper in the food. Idk if you hate your customers because it seems you want to injure people with the level of pepper you're putting in the food. I will never go back here again. I meant to leave a review last year after my two negative experiences but decided not to but after this recent one, there's no way I wouldn't. I would give 0 stars if I could. Please avoid this place if you don't want to fall sick.

Customer service is top notch. I am always happy to visit this Naija Jollof despite living in Waterloo.

The food is tasty, and the price is very reasonable. I recommend anyone to give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
