Always come by for some chicken on the stix. Nice clean place, great staff, and ofc the food.
My friend and I both ordered three portions of chicken on rice. I added five extra toppings, while my friend didn’t add any. However, I noticed that each of my meals was noticeably lighter and had much less meat than hers. So we weighed them on an electronic scale — mine (with five toppings) was 562 grams, while hers (without any toppings) was 657 grams. Then I weighed the toppings separately, which came to 117 grams. That means my meal without the toppings was only 445 grams, compared to hers at 657 grams. How could a meal with five extra toppings end up being one-third lighter than the same meal without any toppings? It seems like there’s barely any meat under the toppings. I wouldn’t recommend ordering chicken over rice from this place — unless you’re a vegetarian. The store I usually visit (nearby Walmart Oakville) is way better, with decent portions and great service.

This Osmow’s on Lakeshore is phenomenal! I usually come for lunch. They’ve truly revived that original Osmow’s taste I haven’t found in years. Fresh, flavorful, and full of care — this location and team makes the difference!
