I recently discovered this hidden gem of a Mediterranean restaurant in Square One mall's Food District and I am blown away by the quality of their food and their hard work.I've been visiting them frequently during lunchtime and each time, I am amazed by the delicious flavors, presentation, and generous portions. The beef is cooked to perfection and every bite is a delight. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves good food and wants to try something unique.Their menu is different from any other restaurant I've been to, and I can't wait to go back and try more. Overall, an outstanding experience that deserves recognition. I hope they expand soon so more people can enjoy their amazing food!

Small outlet in the Food District - an absolutely delightful surprise. Halal food prepared with care, by hand - delicious. The plates are a wonderful mix of healthy ingredients and are abundantly tasteful. If I was in the Middle East, the quality and care given would bode well in any fine dining establishment.

The food was very highly acclaimed by the friend who recommended it. Sadly this was not my favourite spots to grab a quick bite.I tried the beef entree so please keep that in mind in case you want to visit and get chicken. Chicken is better.Food was fresh. The size is pretty generous. I just didn't like the flavour combination.Try it anyway as it is healthy and halal!

This is bt far THE BEST MEDITERRANEAN FOOD I've had. If you like this kind of food, you can't get much better than this place. To me, the food seemed a work of art. My photo doesn't do justice. And taste, I mean, it is a symphony of various ingredients. I live in Guelph, but I will come back to the mall just for this. It is that good. What I had was Rolling Pasha, but I bet other menus will be equally good. You guys seriously rock!!! ??

My husband & I have order from here twice and each time the food has been unbelievably fresh and delicious! The man that is always at the front counter is friendly, efficient and helpful. Don’t let a big line scare you he will get your food to you in no time and it’s worth the wait!

Right in the Food District and Square one, I came here for the first time today, loved it! Very authentic tasting and very fresh. So many flavors in the sand which, I can’t wait to go again and try another one.Definitely recommend eating here

Ordered the rolling pita pasha, it was lovely! The kofta was juicy, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The pita bread was so soft and perfectly complimented what it contained. I can also tell that the tahini used for the tahini sauce is of really good quality. I felt a pickle in there would have made this absolutely perfect though. Definitely coming back.Side note: I loved watching the chef put everything together. He wasn’t just assembling and cooking the food, he was dancing with the food.

I went to the location downtown when it was still open. Salad was good but I wish it had more butternut squash in it! I think if it had bigger chunks it would add to the different textures. Very crisp and fresh lettuce! The hummus was amazing, super thick and creamy. I think it would be hard to finish this all yourself though so it's best to share between 4 people as it is on the heavier side. The pita was tasty but we couldn't identify where the meat was tbh
Went to this place for lunch with a friend. It had some fusion Mediterranean cuisine so thought to give this place a try. We asked the person behind the counter about the concept, didn’t get a good answer. Asked for recommendations and didn’t turned out good as well. Decided to go with Happy Therapy salad and Happy Pasha in pita. We were told it’s kind of a fine dining concept to go. I was excited to see what special they do to make it work. Unfortunately was disappointed with the service and food. Food prep took more than 20 minutes. I like my steak to be medium done but the meat in my pita was also medium done (I didn’t even asked for it). The food is overpriced for me. I have been to middle east many times and this is not even near to the taste and quality of it.

I was so excited to try this place inside the square one food district but it did not meet my expectations at all. The food looked very fresh and flavourful but it did not taste good at all for some odd reason. The rice and chicken were filled with oil and the smell was horrible. The only thing I ate out of my plate was the salad and the creamy hummus with the small pita chips. I wish I could have given 5 start rating but the presentation of the food only looked tasty. I will not be returning back.

Very good food and decent size of the meal. It felt fresh and prepared with love. I just didn't understand why they closed at 7PM on a busy Friday. The could make much more money.

This place has one of the most fresh and delicious food I've had in a very long time. I can't believe I had a five star experience in a MALL. The lamb and beef kofta plate was to die for. I'm not even exagerating. The chef or the main person servicing is so skilled and really makes sure each plate is perfect. RECOMMEND 100%

This restaurant is part of the Food District at the Square One mall. The name is from "a la plancha", a traditional Spanish cooking method where food is cooked over an open flame on a cast-iron plate. Flavours from Spain, Portugal, Cypress, Israel, and Egypt are to be incorporated in their menu. I ordered their Santorini Sunset (vegan) as a pita. It has smoked tofu shawarma, yellow split pea spread, caramelized onions, mixed greens, salsa fresca, tahini, and pickle mango sauce. There was more than enough for a good meal and I loved how each bite had a blast of flavour. Definitely a good restaurant to try out.
