I recently celebrated my birthday at Posta Ital Bar Cucina and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and our server made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. A delightful surprise was the complimentary tiramisu cake, which made the night even more special. The only minor drawback was that it took a bit of time to get the bill, so I'd recommend asking for the cheque about half an hour before your reservation ends to avoid running over the 2‑hour mark. Overall, a memorable birthday dinner and I'd gladly come back!

The staff are amazing Rosie, Francesco, Mateo and the phenomenal Ryan! The dining experience was incredible! Food so delicious! We have now celebrated two events in less than two months! Planning next event there as well! You will never be disappointed and they can't do enough for you!

ROSIE did a FabU job of Service (clearing, getting our orders AND REQUESTS w/out being reminded). BUT THEN, she Performed the FLAMING PARM WHEEL for 3 of us & it was Perfection (a previous time another, in chef's whites, did NOT do it as well, the Flame having Extinguished itself during the Process). And then I driZZled it w/the Chili Oil & it was DEvine! We also shared the Roasted Brussel Sprouts, which were delish (tho the 'spicy' pancetta could have been spicier). LOVE the location et al. One of our FAV restos here in Toronto.

The food was delicious aswell.. thank you very much for a great experience, and thank you again to our server who was on top of everything, and ensured my sisters first outing with her baby very comfortable. Racism and Discriminatory Customer Service Concern
I am compelled to express my serious dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Posta Restaurant. The level of customer service was extremely poor, and the server’s behaviour appeared racially biased, discriminatory, and disrespectful. The interaction created a highly uncomfortable and unwelcoming dining environment, which is completely unacceptable in a professional service setting.
Food Quality Concern
In addition to the service concerns, we were served pizza that was cold and excessively overcooked, indicating a significant lapse in quality control and basic culinary standards.
Complaint Handling and Service Ethics Concern
When we politely requested a replacement, instead of preparing a fresh order, the staff chose to reheat and re-serve the same pizza. This response demonstrated poor complaint resolution, lack of accountability, and unprofessional service ethics.
Food Safety and Hygiene Concern
The situation became more concerning when the server handled the pizza with bare hands before re-serving it. This reflects a serious failure to maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
Cross-Contamination and Vegetarian Dietary Compliance Concern
As the order was strictly vegetarian, handling the pizza without proper hygiene controls presented a significant risk of cross-contamination and showed disregard for dietary requirements and customer trust.
Regulatory Compliance and GMP Concern
The overall experience demonstrated a troubling lack of adherence to food safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and professional operational standards.
I strongly urge the management of Posta Restaurant to conduct an immediate and thorough review of their staff behaviour, anti-discrimination policies, customer service training, and food safety compliance to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
