Potluck is my go-to spot for Jamaican food , the jerk chicken and curry goat are always full of flavor. Quality is consistently good every time I visit, and it never disappoints!

My experience about this place is that the food taste great.The only down fall is that they do not share a lot especially the meat two three pieces and the rest gravy to add up to it.Yesterday Friday June 13,2025.I order three food two of which was oxtail and rice and the potion was so small after me and and family eat.We were hungry after my share out of the oxtail was three pieces and the meat was hard and the rice was not enough.The cook should pay more attention when cooking and person sharing out the food should should out the proper potion and not less.

Garbage service, nothing but attitude from these people here. 25$ for a large oxtail just cook your own food people.

First time there today. Food was exactly what I wanted. Ordered 2 boneless chicken roti wraps and coleslaw. Wrap was packed with chicken that was so tender. The coleslaw was creamy and a slight sweetness to it. Reminder me of what coleslaw should taste like. We will definitely go again. Atmosphere was quiet. Not very talkative, pleasant but quiet. Service was good, but only gave 4 stars cause it could have been a little more sociable. Which I expect from a Caribbean restaurant. Still looking forward to next time and fingers crossed they have patties left. Those were sold out. Which tells me they must be good!

Been here twice already and will be going back!! It's so good. Just good old comfort food. The flavors are great 👌

The food is always great! The prices are reasonable. Nicole and the staff are always pleasant. I highly recommend!

The food here is delicious, it’s the best Jamaican food that I have tasted in Ontario other than a place in Orillia. I have had their jerk chicken, the oxtail, their soups and their breakfast items. All delicious. I am yet to try their fish but I am sure that will be tasty as well. I crave their food!

The staff are always friendly. I saw someone note that you can’t pay by credit card, but I have always used my VISA credit card here to pay. Credit, debit or cash. Maybe it was the type of credit card for that person.

Food tastes delicious... However, they barely give you much of the meat! They fill up most of the takeout container with rice! The older thin lady who usually works in the back is really moody and mean when she's at the front dealing with customers but the other staff are nice. You can't pay by credit card either and their prices have increased a lot.

I understand not liking customers coming into a store close to closing time, but at least have some human decency. Came in 5 minutes before close, and again I wasn’t expecting the highest quality food, but I found plastic wrap and hair in my food. On top of that the two people that were there at the front were rude when I came in. I’m sure the food is redeemable midday, but do NOT come here when it’s closing time because food quality is -1/10

I frequent this restaurant often but usually buy the jerk chicken which is very tasty. Today I ordered a side of rice and peas, boneless curried chicken and a small curried goat with rice and peas. I paid $7 for the side of rice and it wasn’t even full! The curried goat was all bones with a few pieces of meat. I’m very disappointed! If I’m paying $15-20 for curried goat then I expect there to be goat meat not just bones.
