Been coming year for over 10 years. However this is my last time because of the way we were treated. When arriving all of the staff seemed to be uptight. We were not even greeted properly. Then the 2 young waitresses were very very nice. However due to short staff we were then served by the manager Carrie. From the start Carrie talked to us with attitude, rolled her eyes and made sarcastic remarks to us. She was downright nasty and we felt so uncomfortable.
I have never ever been treated like that in a restaurant. It was evident that the manager Carrie was taking her problems out on the customers due to the shortage of staff.
I used to love this place, Ive never seen this place so empty. Now I know why
wont be returning.
We had a great time last night, excellent food and service.
The selection of alcohol free beer and wine (there was no wine) was disappointing.
One of the best in port credit!!! Been coming for years and years to come. Great atmosphere decent prices and always a friendly staff. Keep it up.
Ideal place to meet friends with nice ambiance. Fantastic comfort food. Plenty of screens to catch any game. Bartender Sierra is awesome. Cheers, we'll definitely be back.
Waited an hour for burger and wings and they were served cold.
Would not recommend eating here.
Had a very fast in and out lunch with my daughter and my puppy on patio today. Had 30 minutes. Staff, especially Michael, was outstanding. Brought water to my pup. Got us in an out in 25 minutes. And wings are uniquely great. Fried then finished on grill. Smokiness is perfect. Thanks.
Tucked in the heart of Port Credit, this restaurant has all the charm you'd expect from a neighbourhood favourite—at least at first glance. We stopped in for dinner and were seated quickly. The space is nice, the atmosphere relaxed, and the staff seemed friendly at first. Our drink orders were taken promptly, and we placed our appetizers and mains soon after.
Then the waiting began.
We sat for 45 minutes before our appetizers arrived—no explanation, no heads-up. We had evening plans and assumed the timing would be manageable, but by the time the mains arrived (another 30 minutes later), we had to ask for everything to be packed up to-go. No apologies, no acknowledgment of the long delays, and we had to flag down our server just to get boxes and the check.
That said, the food itself was excellent. The focaccia with brie trio dip and the panko mozza “bricks” were beautifully done—crispy, melty, and rich with flavour. Easily the highlight of our experience. Though we didn’t eat our mains at the table, we did enjoy them at home. The whiskey burger was especially impressive, with the perfect balance of sweet caramelized onions, cheese, and a juicy patty. The fish and chips didn’t hold up as takeout—too oily by the time we got to it—but we suspect it would’ve been much better fresh.
Overall, this place has solid kitchen talent, but the service and communication need serious improvement. Patrons shouldn’t be left sitting for hours without an update or even a simple apology. A little courtesy goes a long way—especially when the food is worth coming back for.
Its an amazing place to just sit and chill with your friends or partner! I went for my birthday with my friends… The staff was super accommodative and friendly. The cocktails and food was amazing ??

I've been to the pump house a couple of times but the last time on Saturday October 19th the place was very busy but the food we received was not up to par. It was very well done burger with toppings on it that we're not supposed to be on it and the fries were cold. I will not be returning.

The food was amazing, the service was really nice, the only issue was that it was a little hot, and there were fruit flies around the table we were sitting at.

Burgers and Tacos were terrible. It is hard to screw up a burger, but they managed to do it. We waited 20 mins to order as well. Don’t get fooled by the good rating.
