We recently used Pumpernickel's for an office event of 17 people, and the experience exceeded expectations. We ordered the chicken (halal) and salmon meal combo, along with additional falafel wraps to accommodate our vegan employees. Every item was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The standout items for our group were the salads — especially the Spiced Chickpea Salad, Cauliflower, Sweet Potato & Kale, and the Spinach Salad. Across the board, everyone agreed these were some of the best salads we've had at any catered event. They were vibrant, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced. Beats the pizza and sandwiches we have tried from other companies in the past.
The chicken and salmon entrées were also a hit — both were cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the grilled vegetables. Amazing flavour. The falafel wraps were hearty and satisfying, making our vegan staff feel thoughtfully included.
Overall, the food was high-quality, dietary needs were met for all, a healthy food choice and the service was smooth and reliable. Highly recommend for any professional or team event!

I work in this area a few times a month, and I'm always excited to go here to pick up a lunch bowl. I honestly don't know anywhere else where you can get healthy delicious options at a reasonable price. Plus the staff is super nice. Not sure why they have negative comments or low stars. Every time I go here its great!!

Wow! The sandwich was amazing. I uber ordered an egg, mushroom and spinach sandwich. The bread was spot on, mushroom were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend.

Staff are not pleasant. When you ask them things it’s like you’re intruding in their space. They close early almost everyday. You guys got an hour left, why is everything packed up and not available? Again, staff are NOT welcoming, they all have an attitude and look miserable af. If you don’t like ya job then leave. 🤨

I was so looking forward to the chicken kale caesar wrap because I've always enjoyed it. Today though, it was a big thumbs down. Inside the wrap, the lettuce was dry and barely had any of the caesar dressing and just the chicken. Not even the crutons they always provided before. No napkins in the bag either. Was my order that much of a rush to complete? Why? I'm just super disappointed that it was made with zero care. Do better!
Amazing place if anyone is looking for healthy and tasty meals. Executive specialties are priority here. One of the best caterers in GTA. I Highly recommend Pumpernickels to all food lovers out there.

I tried Mighty Kale salad, added a boiled egg and I loved it! Healthy and nutritious but It’s a bit expensive, extras are costly, $2 for 1 single boiled egg is exaggerated. They should review their prices and make some items more affordable. Other than that I recommend it if you’re looking for healthy fresh options.
