I just dropped in for my usual Friday fish and chip lunch because the place where I usually go was closed for holidays. I ordered the lunch special which small halibut and chips which were prepared to perfection. BTW the “small” halibut was really quite sufficient. I was so pleased that this will now be my go to FishAnd Chip resto.
If you're craving classic, crispy, golden fish and chips done right, this place delivers! The fish was perfectly battered—light, crispy, and not overly greasy—with a flaky, fresh interior that tasted like it was caught that morning. The chips were thick-cut and cooked to a perfect golden brown, soft on the inside with a satisfying crunch on the outside.
The atmosphere was warm and casual—exactly what you'd hope for in a cozy fish and chips joint....

My hubby and I had been going to this lovely diner for at least 25 years. It has delicious fish and chips, so if you are looking for a well prepared British style fish and chips, I highly recommend this place.
My only negative comment is to the customers who come to eat inside of restaurant:
No phones on the table. They should be turned off or silenced. If you need to field a call or text, excuse yourself from the table and go to a location away from the dining...
