Lankan Delights - Authentic Sri Lankan Food

I basically called & ordered, but my wife picked up the food. Excellent customer service over the phone. The food was tasty (Masala Dosa) & could not go wrong with the promotion price of just Cad$5.99. They sent me a complimentary sweet which was good too. Will definitely try the other dishes on their menu as per my likings/interests. already recommended to family & friends.

I was craving for lamprais and I found this place who makes it today. I ordered fish lamprais. When I arrived to the restraint, I was surprised to see the atmosphere of the place. Very disorganized. Dirty. Fruit fly around the food that was there. It was little too late for me to back off. I ordered vegetarian rice which doesn’t even feed one kid. When I got the food, I was surprised to find out that it was almost $30 for this very small portion . I opened the lamprais and found canned seeni Sambal in it. No veggie curries… I don’t even know why they call it lamprais . Very disappointment with the portion of food, items served, price and the hygiene of the restaurant. I would never recommend this place to anyone or ever visit.

Few days ago I got mutton roll at room temperature. I told them it was not hot when I took my first bite, they just simply put it in the microwave.

Today I got chicken curry and the lady asked if I wanted the chicken curry warm she can put it in the microwave because the curry was at room temperature. So I asked her if they put their curry in the fridge she was like it stays outside at room temperature because it’s cooked the same day.

It’s disgusting because the food should be kept warm not at room temperature

Visited after a couple of months. Bought rolls, patties, wada, pastries and fish buns. None of them were fresh or hot. Especially the patties tasted stale. We had to put them away. Prices are high compared to other restaurants. This was a go to place when we come to Mississauga. Will never come again. Avoid this place at all costs. Will warn my friends and family too.

Used to be called Hot Breads I think and we've been getting Lamprais from them for a while now and hands down: Currently the best Lamprais in the GTA: Delicious & super value for money. (If you find a better spot I wanna hear about it...)

It's so good I usually get a few extra to freeze and have later when the rice cravings kick in.

Smallish location, with unimpressive decor but the food & the customer service is 10/10.

This Sri Lankan takeout restaurant receives a one-star rating from me. Despite being takeout-only, the lamprais was subpar, offering small portions and failing to deliver the authentic flavors expected from Sri Lankan cuisine. Disappointingly, it falls short compared to other options in the area.

Everything was done perfectly, the food was amazing.Everyone loved the short eats as well as string hoppers, dhal curry, potato curry, pol sambol and seeni sambol that we ordered in very large quantities.The food was delivered in time and everything was handled very professionally.A big Thank You to Priya and the team .

The restaurant sent me chicken instead of mutton (lamb). My mother in law is allergic to chicken and which is why I ordered mutton curry for her. she realized it is chicken after she took a bite of it and the restaurant doesn’t even pick up the phone. This restaurant’s negligence can pose health risk for you, avoid it at any cost.

While I had a terrible experience at the haka restaurant recently I wanna make clear that IM not a salty hater or one of these review people who takes their time to hate on other business owners in fact I love this restaurant. Lankan delights It is amazing the price and quality of the food offered is very difficult to compete with. Fairly into South Indian cuisine I can safely say this is one of the better restaurants in the area by far food always being fresh relatively quick and price reasonable. Never ordered here and came up wrong. I can't speak to any of the other reviews that are less than a 5 but this is everything you want in a restaurant unless you are looking for a place to sit down and eat in which case you're out of luck as they don't offer that and it's takeout onlylankan delights = 5 starshakka express= Zero stars

Great authentic Sinhalese food. Very good prices for Lamprise. Lots of choices for short eats.
