went here last night with my sister and my brother-in-law, food was really good! i got the brisket sandwich and fries. i liked the sandwich, and the portion of it. the brisket was a lil overdone in my opinion but that aside the flavour from the bbq sauce and smokiness was perfect, also i love that the fries are handcut, they use great quality potatoes! i’ll definitely be returning for more food off the menu. thank you RD’s, and shoutout the mandem in the front! 🫡

ribs were tough, brisket was dry, pulled pork was tender but way too much sauce, wings were tough. All but the pulled pork seemed like it was not fresh and improperly smoked. Mac and cheese was okay, slaw was meh, as well as the beans. the beignet had the consistency of hush puppies. It's a shame, I drove from Markham to check it out and was hopeful after reading the reviews. I've been through the southern states and know bbq, I would have been happy if it was half as good as Buc-ees food. Beignet: They are known for their pillowy-soft texture with a crispy exterior and a light, fluffy interior. Like the picture below, not what I got.

I have had the pleasure of having southern bbq in Jackson, Mississippi. My fiancé is from Mississippi. This is southern dishes but not made with the love southerners pour into their food!!!! I am so disappointed in this food quality. I paid over $100 for burnt hush puppies, wings and ribs. The mac and cheese i ordered tastes like noodles with cheese... just cheese. The noodles are bland and flavourless. I cant speak for the flavour of the wings or ribs because I cannot get the taste of BURNT MEAT off my palate. $100 worth of food ordered through UberEats down the drain. I will never follow a tik tok recommendation again!!!

My husband and I have traveled all over—from Waterloo to Guelph to Orangeville—thinking we had found the best brisket around. But today we discovered that the very best was actually just minutes from home! The brisket here is hands-down the best we’ve ever had: tender, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back often (in fact, this might just become our regular spot!)
