Red Chili Hakka restaurant is a nice place to go and have Chinese cuisine......
The first thing we ordered was the hot and sour soup and the corn soup, then the other items.
Yes, it's a great place to go and have some fun and enjoy the yummy food.

In all honesty, I enjoy Hakka cuisine, but this establishment is not one I would revisit. The restrooms were in a state of disrepair, the table we were seated at was quite sticky, and there were used napkins on the floor and on the seat next to us. It was evident that the establishment lacked cleanliness. We ordered the Kung pao shrimp, which had a satisfactory sauce but only contained six pieces of shrimp. The Hakka chow mein was devoid of flavor and excessively dry. The ginger chicken was perhaps the only palatable dish we had. At the end of the meal, we politely requested additional containers from the waitress. She initially brought us one container, and when we asked for more, she provided us with a small cup container intended for soup. She appeared visibly irritated when I requested the appropriate container. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this establishment and hope that they will make improvements in the future.

I recently visited Red Chili restaurant and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The food quality was terrible—everything tasted bland and seemed poorly prepared, which was really frustrating after hearing good things about this place. To make matters worse, the wait staff was inattentive and unresponsive. Despite multiple requests, they seemed to ignore our concerns and barely checked on us throughout the meal.

The overall experience was just awful, and it didn’t stop there. The restaurant doesn’t even have a baby changing station in the washrooms, which made it extremely inconvenient for families with young children. Given the poor food quality, lackluster service, and lack of basic amenities, I would not recommend Red Chili to anyone. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!

One of the worst Hakka places honestly. We ordered a Szechuan Chicken Rice and Chicken Manchurian with gravy. The rice literally felt like plastic and the meat you could smell how old it is. We barely ate anything and still ended up getting food poisoning later that night. On top of all of that we told them about the food quality and they saw how all the food is there as is, we barely ate anything, they were like sorry about the quality we will give you 20% off like seriously? There was only one other table that had customers. Should have walked out of the restaurant just by seeing that. Terrible service terrible food.

WHAT I LIKED:
I had chicken and shrimp hot and sour soup only. Me and my family liked it. Fresh and good taste.

Service was good, people were polite and friendly.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
VERY Expensive for hakka cuisine for similar restaurants in GTA.

Hakka is known for generous quantity but their quantity/portion size is MUCH less comparatively. Even though we only had the soup, I looked around the room and felt that other dishes on nearby table had small portion sizes too.

Seating area is congested.

MY ADVICE:
Consider 1) reducing prices and 2) increasing portion sizes to be competitive with your peers.
You are located at a great location. Even the foot traffic of the plaza will sustain such practices as yours in the short term. However, after receiving poor ratings consistently you might find yourself in not the most ideal situation in the ling term.
It is difficult to change the perception if the customers are walking out with their mind made up that they will not be returning.
