A friend recommended this place, but it was a bit difficult to find since it’s located in an industrial area. Although there was an “Open” sign, the place didn’t look like it was operating. From the outside, it appeared closed, with white security gates pulled across the windows.

I decided to walk in anyway. There was no one at the front, but a few guys were sitting at the bar. They called out to someone, and a girl came out from the kitchen to take my order. She was friendly and polite.

While waiting for my food, I looked around since it was my first time there. The building is older and definitely needs an update. It’s not really a place to dine in—the guys at the bar and nearby tables were constantly cursing, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. They may have been regulars, but it didn’t feel welcoming.

When my food was ready, I noticed another staff member, an older woman, come out from the kitchen to help. Both women were wearing aprons covered in flour. I’m not sure if they were understaffed or if it was just the two of them running the place, but it didn’t feel very professional. The overall vibe reminded me of a typical rum shop in Guyana (lol).

That said, the food quality was amazing. While the food alone is worth trying, the atmosphere and level of professionalism definitely need improvement.

Nothing beats home cooking, but when a family friend decided to bring me some stew, fish, and some pumpkin, I knew I had to try it out. When they told me it came from this location, Roti On The Run, I was surprised. Now, I’m a fan! I know it will be busy soon again. I will recommend it to people who want authentic Guyanese food—they can finally have a place.
I’m not talking about the Chinese fried rice or the Trini-style food that's all over the GTA. This is authentic Guyanese home cooking. I can’t wait to visit again.

Ordered the cook up rice with pasta salad. Mango sour on the side.

It was nice. I asked for medium heat, though, and it was barely mild. Wish they gave a little more pasta salad (could even reduce the rice a bit) without having to pay $1.50 extra.

Highly recommend the mango sour on the side. Really added to the dish.

I’ve been eyeing this place on uber eats but i’m always hesitant to try because I only trust my mom’s Guyanese cooking. Today I decided to be adventurous and ordered the boneless chicken curry roti. Omg. It tastes just like my mom’s cooking. I almost cried when I took a bite. I genuinely never thought I’d find a place with authentic Guyanese flavours until now. Food came hot. Taste was fresh. Pepper was just enough. Chicken was flavourful. Reminded me of home. Will order again. 10/10

Got the boneless goat roti on paratha. Flavour and seasoning were perfect and the paratha was so soft and felt fresh. Service was quick and sweet. Would recommend!

This delivers hot, fresh food. Rhe roti itself is hot, soft and falls apart in your mouth - it is fresh. We had the boness goat and boneless chicken curry. The girl working the front counter was very friendly. She took our and with-in 10 we were eating. Place is a little hard to fimd because its in an industrial area. But once you find it, just follow the aromas to heaven.

Ordered Duck curry and rice.$14.25 dine inn,. With parantha$3.99( on the side.) Duck in a roti wouldn't have worked. The Duck was a cartridge tip (so no meat on that) a bottom of leg bone cut (no meat) other small boney pieces, swimming in a 12 oz. Pool of juice and findAnd small pieces of bones. The size of nerds candy. Very hard and in the way. Dahl n water watered down. No flavor at all. Need to put hot sauce on everything. The rice was plenty. Better cleaner prices for the Duck.

NEVER buying from here again. Ordered the Soup over Uber Eats. After eating the soup, what do I find a little over halfway through, a friggin fly. A whole fly. I am so very thankful that at least I look at my spoon before every bite of food to spot the fly, so I wouldn't have accidentally eaten it. But the fact that it was in my food is very disturbing.
