Royal Jasmine

I recently dined at Royal Jasmine Restaurant and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. While the food was decent, the service was a major letdown. We had to wait an unusually long time to be seated and, at one point, my wife had to go to the back to grab her own cutlery and plates, as no one came to assist us. This lack of attention really detracted from the meal, and it was surprising for a place that seemed to have potential. I hope they can improve their service, as it would make a big difference to the overall experience.

Present infront of guest No spoons , no Peppers, no red chilli , soup is so sour

When we pickup no one inform that these things were not inside

I usually never visit a restaurant without checking the Google reviews but in a rush today, I ordered takeout from Royal Jasmine. Eggplant, paneer, noodles and beef. The beef was ok. The other dishes were awful. Corn starch heavy "gravy" and very unappetizing.

Quality of the food has been spectacular recently. I feel like they have been getting better and better over time! Crispy beef and hot and sour soup are always a must.

Walked into a restaurant, 4 adults one under 10 years old. Table for more than 5 people 13% Gratuities is insane. As per the law it has to be more than six people. Management needs to review their policy.

After a 10+years relationship with the Royal Jasmine in Mississauga, my recent visit left me reflecting on how much has changed. The infusion of Thai and Chinese flavors that once defined their menu seems to have been replaced by a predominantly Indian palate.

The restaurant was bustling on a Friday night, with a demographic shift in its clientele, now catering to those who enjoy a heavy dose of spice mainly in an unharmonious manner. While I have fond memories of their chicken corn soup, the rest of the meal felt like a departure from the thai-Chinese-desi flavors I once adored. The Bombay-chicken sizzler, Tangra Masala (??) and other heavily Indian-influenced dishes overshadowed the Chinese aspect, creating a fusion that felt more like confusion to me.

The udon noodles, once a favorite, were overpowered by spices typically reserved for Indian curries. It’s clear the Royal Jasmine has evolved, now offering a menu that’s 70-80% Indian and 20-30% Chinese.

One will not miss the shift of servers style which is now very typical to Indian Pakistani Bangladeshi mass market.

For those seeking a true Hakka Chinese experience, the Royal Jasmine may no longer be the go-to. However, if you’re in the mood for a spicy, Indian-infused take on Chinese cuisine, this might just be your spot. Sadly, for my family and me, I got to find some place new which is 70% Chinese 30% Desi.

The food was amazing and everything smelled and tasted amazing, the vibe was nice but pretty loud but I guess that's what happens when you go to a restaurant on election day, ordered a bit too much but it's fine. 5/5 ?

Service has become very slow. Looks like they have laid off some of their cooks.. Took 5 times as long to get the food this time.

Food was not good at all. The Thai green curry chicken was really bad…. That’s the only green curry which had okra in it!!! I would recommend going to some other restaurant for Hakka cow this was a disappointment.
