Food is mediocre, customer service, non existent. Went once and it took 20 min for the food to be ready and it tasted bland. The next time I asked if they had a veggie plate because I’d seen it on one of their signs before. When I asked the worker all they said was “no”. No accommodating , no sorry, no hello, no customer service. Unfortunate because I was really looking forward to trying their food. Disappointed.

My girlfriend and I ordered the large jerk chicken plate, the sampler plate and a stuffed chicken patty. All in all the food was really good! The oxtail with the sampler was fantastic, the jerk chicken was great, and the portions weren't anything to complain about. Again all in all we loved the food but it seems like quite a few items were missing from our order. No coleslaw was given with the jerk chicken plate, and no Mac and cheese or plantain was given with the sampler. In terms of service and atmosphere, it was okay, employees just seemed like they didn't want to be there which hey I get it, maybe you're having an off day but typically if you are not engaged with the customer, things are missed which I think is what happened today. Overall really happy with the food, but maybe a little disappointed with not receiving all the items I paid for. Will come back again nonetheless, as the flavour and value for the food is in the tops especially for the area.

The food quality, portion and service was excellent! Ordered the small BBQ chicken plate, the chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful. The beans and rice were the same, beans were tender and rice full of flavor. Will definitely be going back before we leave town.

I had the sampler plate and the oxtail was very tender and flavourful, the jerk chicken was moist and had the authentic jerk taste .The rice and peas was Shelly and amazing as well. I will definitely be coming back!!!!!

This used to be my go to jerk chicken spot back when it was $18 per pound of boneless chicken. I went there last week and paid $22+ for 3 drumsticks and 2 small thighs. I have no issue with price increase with inflation, but then bone chicken and no white meat is insane. Also to the owner below who questioned someone how they spent $44 for 2 pounds, well if 1 pound is $22 2 pounds would be $44........

My wife and I decided to share a jerk chicken sandwich for lunch after catching a whiff of the amazing aromas emanating from Roywood.
With friendly and expedient service, we sat down to one amazing sandwich. The coco bread was light and flaky, the slaw inside was amazing but the jerk chicken was obviously the star. It was not only moist and cooked to perfection, but the jerk sauce that it was cooked in was spicy (not spicy 'hot' but spicy in jerk flavour).
I would highly recommend trying this sandwich. I know I will be coming back for the other dishes.
