I tried the chicken biriyani and kappa biriyani. The kappa biriyani was really great and well prepared. However, the chicken biriyani was very disappointing. It didn’t taste good at all, and I couldn’t even finish it. I hope they improve the quality because the kappa biriyani was actually enjoyable.

I used to be a regular from the day they opened, and the food was great at first. Over time, the quality became inconsistent, and when I raised concerns, the staff response was unprofessional. Takeout wait times are also crazy, 30 to 40 minutes. At that point, I’d rather cook at home. Won’t be returning and will take my business elsewhere.

A true hidden gem for Kerala cuisine in Mississauga! Though it's the smallest Kerala restaurant in the area (with a cozy dine-in setup for around 20 people), it's hands down the best in terms of value for money. The food is consistently delicious, authentic, and budget-friendly.

We've tried their Thalassery chicken biryani, chicken roast, and beef roast—all were flavorful and cooked to perfection. While the regular chicken biryani was a bit underwhelming, it was just $9.99, so can't complain much.

Their snacks are absolutely top-notch—especially the pazhampori and meat roll, which are some of the best we've had. The ambiance is simple but pleasant, and the service is decent.

Located on Cooksville Landing, right next to Szechuan Noodles Bowl, this place is easy to miss—but trust me, it's worth finding. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Kerala food in the GTA!

I had my eyes on this restaurant for ages and since I'm leaving for Kerala in 9 days, I decided to microdose on the experience when my friend Niklas said he was craving dosas. We met up here and got the appam, malabar porotta, beef coconut fry, mutton pepper fry, and fried sardines for the mains. We also started with banana fritters and the mango curry. They served us a cardamom black tea and it helped me double down on how all the rich South Asian tea traditions serve it black (no shade but I'm sure my mom agrees). The spot is halal certified. My friend Monica paid so unfortunately I don't know how much it was per person but I'd estimate around $20 each.

They took our dosa order (and money) then came back and said it would take an hour. They also only partially refunded our money, which foolishly we pre-paid.

Catering food quality was very bad, we went to an event where they did the catering, most of my friends and my family got food poisoning. The quality of food was terrible and oily.

I would say that the customer service was kind of bad but i hope they might have exhausted after long hours..
I had some snacks.. it is just average.
Comparatively, I suggest paxhampori and checked/meet roll.

I was very disappointed with my visit to Ruchi World Restaurant. The food quality was not good – it lacked freshness and flavor. The service was slow and not attentive, and it felt like the staff didn’t care about the customers. The place also wasn’t very clean, which made the experience even worse. For the price, I expected much better. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant to others

I came here with my roommate, and since she’s not South Indian, I was a little nervous about how she’d find the food. But honestly, we both had a fantastic experience.

We tried quite a few things—my absolute favorite was the fish cutlet, followed by the chicken roll. For the mains, we went with their deal that includes two vegetarian curries and two meat curries. I got the beef fry and fish curry—both were excellent and I highly recommend them. The pineapple curry, on the other hand, was way too sweet for me, so I wouldn’t order that again.

My roommate tried the bitter melon curry, the chicken curry (which she said was really, really good), and another chicken roast-style dish that she thought was excellent. She also loved the experience of eating on banana leaves, which made the meal feel even more authentic.

The rice was perfectly cooked—soft but not too heavy—and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We had plenty of food, with enough leftovers to take home, and the total bill for appetizers, mains, and drinks came in under $50, which I thought was really reasonable.

Overall, it was a fantastic meal. Being South Indian, I might be a little biased, but seeing my roommate enjoy it just as much as I did made me even happier. She rated the experience 8/10, while I’d give it a solid 9/10. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!
