The unlimited North Indian thali is really not unlimited, except the rotis we learnt later . 5 Subzi cups with half full was not nearly enough for 2 rotis. Then there was a big cup of rice with nothing to eat with. So called Spinach soup was awful. When we asked to meet the manager he never even bothered to come and explain. Very disappointing experience

Rates are very high for dosa compared to other place Hidden tips charged to our bill they are charging which is not disclosed before hand Yesterday we went for dinner and tips came to $39.73 They are not telling 10% tips is already added to bill We added top of that tips from our side because we did not know they already charged tips to our bill So not very happy $40 tips seems to be very high with this high cost of leaving Nobody is tipping us for the work we do

Unfortunately, the location is currently temporarily closed for renovations, leaving many regulars eagerly awaiting its reopening. While it’s disappointing not to have access right now, the closure hints at potential improvements that could elevate the experience further.
We hope the renovations bring fresh updates while maintaining the classic taste and charm Saravanaa Bhavan is known for. Can’t wait to visit again once the doors reopen!

Visited on the day of a festival and they had a good option for thali with good additions.
They are closing down for a few months for renovation.
