PLEASE LOOK AFTER YOUR WASHROOMS! IF THERE IS A SMELL..LOGICALLY BACTERIA IS LINGERING!
Good cooked food and fresh items
I spent $32 for my lunch in their food court and cannot provide me ice water when I asked
I purchased a full sizes Sans rival cake here for a party and it was rancid. I returned it within the hour and they were hesitant to give me a refund and asked why I didn't taste it first before cutting into servings (95% of the cake was returned)
So I guess all your products should be tested first?
Based on the reviews here it seems like I wasn't the only one who experienced this.
Poor customer service, I'd think twice before buying here again.
Varieties of asian groceries.
Nice and organized
Prices are fairly high compared to other supermarkets but the Filipino food offerings are great!
So disappointed to this place. No offense. Back story: We (my husband and I, my parents and our dog) are traveling, drove all the way from NS to Toronto and looking for a place to have lunch we opted to go Seafood city supermarket in Mississauga.
The weather was so hot atleast 32°C everyone was tired for the long drive. Before we went to the Seafood city we checked if dogs are allowed and it says NO Dogs allowed so we planned to have a to-go food instead. We are already ordering our food and my husband decided to ask/double check to one of the crew if we can bring in our dog instead because it was so hot outside and we are already exhausted to look for a park to have a picnic setting with our take out.
The crew said to us No dogs allowed except for service dog but if the dog is well behave under the table it could be okay but make sure that we manage our dog well.
We brought in our dog and he stayed under the table well behaved and he was already laying down and enjoying the air-conditioned place. My parents and I started plating the table with our food, my husband went out to get our drinks.
When we are already started to eat, this lady (maybe one of the supervisor) noticed us and said that Dogs are not allowed. She said it nicely, in her defense. In my mind I was hoping for a consideration because we are already eating, our dog is well behaved and one of the crew allowed us already (I want to emphasize that the crew ALLOWED US). BUT of course we understand and did not complained or resist. I said OKAY and even said sorry for the trouble. (As a fellow Filipino we understand that she was doing her job).
My husband came in and I informed him what happened. He was disappointed because we are already eating already and had to pack up, but he was fine with it because we are trying to follow the rules. So he went to the counter and asked for a plastic bag so we can pack our lunch. That same supervisor lady held the counter crew in giving my husband a FREE bag and said that he needs to pay for the plastic bag.
I was shocked because for just a plastic bag? The inconvenience for us packing out our lunch, our dog was afraid to go out again in the blazing hot weather and you won't spare us 3 pcs of plastic bags? Some stores at the mall can spare an extra nice shopping bag without pay if you ask for it and here a very cheap white plastic bag you cant give us? So ridiculous (not a Filipino way to be not accommodating like this) we are Filipino as well and we are disappointed.
P.S my review is not just about a simple plastic bag but the hospitality and be considerate to your customers. Please dont treat other people the way you dont want to be treated.
Nice one stop shop Filipino Supermarket, Jollibee Fastfood, Foodcourt, Remittances, Real Estate, etc. Convenient for OFWs who miss home. A bit pricey.
I don’t know who is the manager but I have to say that, Very stupid, I came all the way to shop but it's been closed for half an hour
