Our family frequently visits this Second Cup, and today we are very sad to know that he was given a parking ticket even though he was only gone for a few minutes for Friday prayers. He later found out the owner called the parking agency on him, even though other cars parked beside him had no issues.
As a hijabi, this makes me very uncomfortable because it truly feels like certain customers are being singled out. I have visited this plaza many times and never experienced anything like this myself, but what happened to him today is extremely concerning.
We will not be returning, and I encourage our Muslim community to be aware of this behaviour and reconsider supporting this Second Cup location. No one should feel targeted or treated differently based on how they look or what they are wearing.

I visited Second Cup today around 9:30pm and I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte, but unfortunately it tasted like just a cup of milk with no flavor at all. This is actually the third time I’ve received a drink like this, and I’m quite disappointed. I really look forward to visiting Second Cup and enjoying the drinks I pay for, but instead I’ve ended up paying full price for what feels like a cup of milk on multiple occasions. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could get back to me regarding this matter.
