I picked up food from the restaurant on Saturday afternoon.
The woman who served me was not friendly or welcoming.
Once I got home and opened up the order the following was what I found: 1. Rice and peas - there a shaving of rice under the 3 pieces of chicken at the front of the container.
2. I picked up 3 doubles. As you can see there’s a dollop of channa inside it. There should have been more filling inside the bread.
I called the restaurant and spoke with Glen. He said the manager was busy and he would have them call me back. I did not receive a call back.
The food is quite pricey however the service and quality does not match the pricing. I paid $60 for 2 jerk rotis, 3 doubles and a large jerk and was very disappointed to say the least. There is no consistency with the service or food. I have been coming to this establishment for over 16 years and it’s no longer what it used to be.

The best jerk chicken spot in Canada. I've been to a hunch and this takes the cake. Taste, quality and freshness is always on point. Highly recommend this place.

Ok I love shandras food the only trini spot with strictly trini cooking, I have been coming here for years it dont matter which city i live in, but boy i am so disappointed with the portion and roti size I mean if you are spending nearly $20 on a roti then the size should be right, when i got my order i could not believe how small the roti is i wss so upset I told myself I should have just buy a pizza instead come shandras we trini dont do this get back to regular programming and give people there money's worth o gosh

Exceptional Caribbean cuisine!! The jerk chicken, oxtail, rice and peas, and curry beef and curry goat roti are absolutely delicious- each bite is bursting with authentic flavor!!

Not ever in my whole entire life Have I ever been charged for pepper sauce on the side . This was a true shock, as it's a Roti shop. Roti shop is supposed to provide pepper sauce. Whether if you want it in your food or not or if you want it on the side, this is the very first Roti shop that I ever came to know that actually charges for this, which I find it's a huge joke.

Honestly if I can give 0 stars I would, I decided to eat in today at Shandra's, quarter way through my meal I picked a black piece of hair out of my food, (note that I have long blonde hair)....I proceeded to quietly notify the owner of the issue as there was other people in store and I didn't want to create a scene. She tells me that everybody wears hair nets and walks to the back, never returns to apologize or speak to me but sends one of the workers to tell me that I can get the same meal minus the main highlight for me (dhal) although she was clearly upset and acting like I did something wrong...I politely asked for a chicken roti instead, she then brings the tiniest roti I've ever seen, clearly a small mini, for $20.31, I'd never return, very poor attitude and customer service is lacking badly, common trini's, do better!! You're not in Trinidad anymore, we expect a higher standard of service here.

Omg what is going on at my favourite jerk chicken roti house?? We haven’t ordered for a while like 8 months and today we said oh ya Shanda’s been a while. Always a staple of that succulent stuffed roti dripping from your chin I was so looking forward to it like you would not believe. We placed a work order like we always have for pickup for 12 orders and the complains came in fast. The roti’s were wrapped differently with all the wrap on the bottom was exactly 3 layers and leaving 1 layer on top which is now stuffed with half the amount of chicken and sauce giving you a sorry sir an excuse of the original Shanda’s. Honestly if this is what your business comes to then retire.

Excellent rotis. The jerk chicken is my favorite and their potato salad is a hidden gem. It is so tasty but they are usually out of it.
