Hands down the best Shawarma I have had so far in Canada, The kebab is succulent, tender and full of flavour. The shawarma has all the right flavours but maybe a little more spice would elevate the flavour even more. Definitely coming back for round 2.
Shawarma Avenue serves the best tasting, most authentic shawarma in Mississauga. The meat is juicy and perfectly seasoned, wrapped in fresh saj bread with garlic sauce that’s unmatched. This small Jordanian-run spot consistently outshines the bigger competitors nearby. Taste-wise, it simply rivals and beats them all.
We came in as a party of two on a Monday night. We were seated immediately but there’s limited seating — about 4 tables. It was our first time eating at the restaurant and I have to say that it’s a different world compared to getting it to go. I think the food tastes a lot better eaten right after being prepared but getting it to go is still good.
