On our drive to Windsor, my family and I decided to stop in Mississauga for a break, and that’s when I came across Mazaya Shawarma. I was in the mood for a falafel sandwich, so I thought I’d give it a try – and wow, what a great choice!

This place is family-owned and operated, and you can really feel the passion behind the food. The owner himself was incredibly welcoming and friendly, which added a personal touch to the whole experience. He explained that they make their falafel completely from scratch, and you can absolutely taste the difference. It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor – easily one of the best falafels I’ve had in a long time.

What impressed me even more was the owner’s generosity. He insisted we try both their chicken and beef shawarma, and I’m so glad we did. Both were seasoned perfectly, tender, and bursting with that authentic Lebanese flavor that makes shawarma so special.

The restaurant itself is very clean, bright, and comfortable – a place you feel good sitting down with your family to enjoy a meal. Prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and freshness of the food. The service was quick, friendly, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers passing through.

If you’re in Mississauga and craving authentic Lebanese food, I highly recommend checking out Mazaya Shawarma. With so many shawarma options how are u guys still in business? Chicken shawarma tasted below average, Falafel soggy and undercooked was horrible. All that aside the sad service we received from the order taker/ cashier, Man if you hate your life so much take a day off or something.

If the food was average but the service was good I would have given you a second chance but there’s so much fail.

My advice is to try to smile and say thank you more often it’s basic common sense.
