Wonderful dishes. I usually get bibimpab or bulgogi but today we had a whole variety of dishes that can be shared. Very delish!

Restaurant with private settings and private booths. Less condiments choices than before. Both bimibap was tasty but smaller portions than expected. The vegetarian tofu dish was delicious.

Came back two days ago and enjoyed their tasty soft tofu spicy soup! My daughter loved her omuririce dish and very filling. My other daughter didn’t like as much her ttoekbokki with chicken sausage. Disappointed with less assortment with condiments. The male servers were attentive and friendly.

Sikgaek Korean Restaurant and Bar delivers an authentic Korean dining experience that keeps customers coming back for more! From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a traditional hanok village with its warm and inviting ambiance complemented by comfortable booths that set the stage for a relaxed meal. True to many restaurants in South Korea, the staff respects your space, leaving you to enjoy your meal uninterrupted and if you need any assistance, simply press a button to call them over. The staff provided excellent service, they were efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring a smooth dining experience by bringing out water and tea ahead of time and serving our order within 10-15 minutes. We ordered the following:

1.) Cream Buldak Ttokbokki – $18
2.) Dakgalbi (Cheese Plate for Two) – $43

Having visited South Korea myself, I was eager to see how these dishes compared to their counterparts from abroad. The Dakgalbi's flavor was initially more subdued than expected but it still stood out as the highlight of the 2 dishes. The gooey melted cheese balanced the spice laden stir fry beautifully, elevating the experience with a satisfying contrast of textures and flavors. Given the generous portion size, we couldn't finish it all and packed some to enjoy later. To my surprise, when reheated 12 hours later, the flavors fully matured delivering the fiery kick I had initially expected. The perfectly marinated chicken and bold gochujang-based sauce finally came to life, making for an even more enjoyable second round!

The Cream Buldak Ttokbokki was another highlight, boasting soft, chewy rice cakes that paired beautifully with a smooth, velvety cream sauce. The infusion of Korean spice into the Western-style creamy base crafted a balance between fiery heat and silky smoothness. While both dishes offered great quality and generous portions, the Dakgalbi felt slightly overpriced compared to its value, unlike the well priced Ttokbokki. If you're looking for the best bang for your buck, I’d recommend opting for a different dish over the Dakgalbi.

Overall, if you're craving a memorable dining experience with cozy ambiance, attentive service, and flavorful dishes, Sikgaek Korean Restaurant and Bar is a solid choice!

One of the very best Korean restaurants in the GTA. Excellent authentic food, and 10% cash discount

I switched it up for lunch. Grab some Korean instead. And admit I was crying a little bit about the amount of time it took for the food to arrive. It wasn't sitting there ready to be reheated clearly cuz it took some time to make it but the soup was amazing and I really enjoyed the food there

Everything was too salty. Way too salty. We drank an entire bottle of water. My bad that I thought the seafood ramen is more like 짬뽕, but it is literally ramen noodles with few tiny cheap frozen seafood mix and they charge for 20 dollars if I remember this correctly. I’m so disappointed.

I just came to eat tonight, I know we were a little bit late (10:45) while your restaurant close at 11:30, but if you already accepted people to get in, you should serve them fair with what they pay. The bill was more than $100, we were so nice with the server. I asked for kimchi, she told me the kitchen closed. When we were still eating, she brought the bill and the box to my table and asked us to leave even we gave her over 18% tips. The food is really good but the service made us really disappointed.

This is one of our most favourite Korean restaurants. We've been going here for nearly a decade and the quality of food as well as service has never deteriorated. We love the atmosphere and decor and the staff (owner, servers, cooks) are all super friendly and helpful. The food is always delicious and we will keep coming back for as long as they stay open.

Really solid Korean restaurant and they stay open pretty late which is make them a great spot for late night dinner or snack! We got their soft tofu seafood soup and the boneless chicken in Joseph flavor. The Joseph flavor is like a creamy nut cheesy sauce. The chicken was crispy but the sauce was very rich and cheesy. Their soup was filled with toppings and pipping hot when it came out. The staff was kind and the food came out fairly quickly! I also love that they have private seating which are separated dividers.

As others mentioned, the food is salty. The service is good. Pork bone soup needs more veggies.

Garbage customer service, treats customers worse than the greasy shit they serve. Deep Fried stuff they don't wait it out to drop off residue oil and serve it disgustingly ?. Noodles are soaggy and not hot, that's a food hazard you know. No discount for the crap they served when I complained. And no parking space during slow hours. What kind of restaurant are you?? ?‍♀️
