“I ordered the chicken popcorn and fries but unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the taste. The flavors didn’t meet my expectations. I hope the restaurant can improve on this in the future.”

I sat down at their dining area, deciding if I was going to buy food for my cousin that was picking me up from the airport. Not even 5 minutes he asked me to leave if I wasn’t buying anything & there were other people sitting without their food. This is at an airport & it was not even that busy. I would not be spending my money here for people who are so greedy & impatient

Ordered the chicken poutine. It was hot and fresh. Found the curds to be a little rubbery at first but if you let them sit they absorb the gravy😏. It was an okay experience but not great. Did not taste any chicken maybe it’s at the bottom? Tables are full with some customers but mostly they are not customers so you have a tough time finding a seat to enjoy your food . It’s at the airport so this is understandable. 😃

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – A Truly Disappointing Experience

I had one of the most unpleasant customer service experiences at Smoke’s Poutinerie in Toronto Pearson Terminal 3—and this was before I even received any food.

At around 12:30 PM on June 21 2025, as the second customer of the day, I simply approached the counter when an order was called out. The announcement wasn’t clear, so I walked up to check if it might be mine. What could have been a simple, polite “Sorry, that’s not your order” turned into an unnecessarily rude and dismissive interaction.

The staff’s response was shocking. With zero courtesy, they snapped back and justified their behavior by saying, “We deal with a lot of orders—we can’t please everyone.” That’s their idea of customer service?

Let’s be honest—no one expects luxury treatment at an airport food court, but basic respect is the bare minimum. The way I was spoken to was hostile, unprofessional, and downright unacceptable. I was eventually refunded, but by then the damage was done. The experience was frustrating and insulting.

And again—this was all before I even received my food. Given the chaos and lack of care I witnessed at the counter, not eating there was probably the best outcome.

If you’re in Terminal 3, do yourself a favour and eat literally anywhere else. This place does not deserve your business or your patience.

We had a few hours to kill at the airport so we took the train to Terminal 3 where you can get poutine before security. It’s a crowded area of arrivals and lots of people who are not customers are occupying the few tables where you can eat. We managed to find a table somehow and it was nice to get a taste of home after our travels. The large regular poutine was good, maybe a bit too hot but we were too hungry to care our mouth was burning.

Picked up some poutine on December 20th and they are still charging the tax that is supposed to be exempt during the tax holiday. Tried to explain that to the non Canadian working there but I think his rag is wrapped to tight. Will be last time I go to any smoke poutinerie

Food is very expensive, you should go downtown Orlando if you have the time. You can find better place more Poutine friendly for this price!

The worst experience I had with any restaurant. I ordered Butter Chicken poutine I waited but no one told me my order is ready. Once I went there to check there is a poutine lying close to the window I had to ask whether it is my order then they said yes. I took it I found out it is a regular one without any chicken, and when I went back to complain they are really rude and told me there is only small portion of chicken served but there is 0 chicken!!! No apologies or giving me the chicken I ordered. Ridiculous that there is a business like this.

Worst poutine ever! Having this poutine as someone who is not familiar with Smoke’s Poutine gives people the worst impression about the brand itself and the quality they provide.

The poutine is not made properly, all the ingredients taste as if they’ve been stored for weeks, including the fries – which are then topped with a massive amount of gravy.

Please change the people working here or close this location, it’s absolutely terrible. Nothing compared to a real well prepared Smoke’s Poutine.

Service was pretty bad as well, zero customer service skills.
