I enjoyed the Chicken Parmigiana, while Lu opted for the Frittura Mista Appetizer. Everything exceeded our expectations. This spot is now a definite go-to for us. You certainly get a lot of food. You will need take out containers and the food tastes great as well. If you don’t eat pork, you need to let the chef know in advanced. This is an affordable place to go for tasty pasta. I would suggest calling ahead for reservations to be on the safe side.

I really hate to do this, because the owner was very kind but I feel like I was duped based on the reviews. The food here is not good at all. Sure, the portions are massive, far too big in my opinion, but the quality is definitely not there. If you are looking for authentic Italian, this is not it.

Shocked this place has a 4.9 rating. We had the worse restaurant meal here. Soranno's focus is on quantity rather quality. The Chicken parmigiana was smothered in an odd coloured sauce; you could not see or even taste the chicken or ravioli. The pesto pasta could feed a family of 6 at least. The salmon was dry/overcooked and came with frozen vegetables still half frozen sitting in a pool of water...so not even drained properly. The glass the beer came in was dirty as I could tell by the lack of foam. The washroom was dirty and toilet was broken. The owners are eager to please and friendly but lack chef skills/training.

The value and quality as well as portions are incredible value. Cleanliness needs to be improved with sticky menus and cutlery/plates that look questionable in terms of cleanliness. Atmosphere requires work- no music and poor air circulation. Service is excellent. Sals was scrumptious, fresh and huge!

When I walked in, I was welcomed and the owners were really sweet and friendly. The vibe was so welcoming and it was even better because their food is so delicious and fresh.
Their lasagna was so good and the portion was pretty big! I really enjoyed it and the spaghetti meatballs were pretty good too.
I'm definitely coming back when I'm around the area! It reminded me of being back in Italy.

Was recommended by a friend who mentioned the food was amazing and giant food portions. The pictures don’t do it justice, when the pasta came out I could not believe how large the portions were.
We started with mozzarella sticks which had great cheese pull and came with a delicious sauce. The bolognese had large quantities of meat and as mentioned before the portion was insane. The food did take a while to come out roughly 40 minutes.
Chef Tony is very kind and hospitable. The complimentary cannolis and garlic bread were delicious as well.

This place is an absolute gem in port credit and the owner chef Tony is a great chef but also a very nice person. Me and my girlfriend got greeted warmly by chef Tony. His food is to die for and his portions are huge as you can see by the picture I'm posting. I had the penne alla vodka and my girlfriend had a special request that chef Tony was eager to accommodate without esitation even tough it wasn't a dish on his menu. Spaghetti allo scoglio in a Rose sauce was a dish that left my girlfriend still talking about it from our latest trip to the Amalfi coast. Chef Tony made it for her and it was just as good if not better than the one she had in Italy with lots of seafood. Chef Tony also asked us how we heard about the restaurant wich my girlfriend answered right away by letting him know that she saw the posting on instagram about the USA Olympic team that placed an order last weekend and was so blown away by it that she told me we have to go check this place out. I'm glad we did and now we totally understand why those Olympic girls decided to order from chef Tony. Chef Tony you just earned 2 more Custumers for life. Keep up the great work and get a bigger place because your restaurant is way toooo small for your talent and reputation that your building my friend ?? I'm adding some pictures of chef Tony with the Olympic girls last weekend and pictures that Chef Tony kindly shared with me about the food he prepared to those USA Olympic girls last Saturday. There is a large tray of house Salad and chef Tony famous canolis?????
