I visited the Mississauga location earlier today. The food itself was fine — I ordered a basic burger and fries — but the service was unexpectedly slow. Despite there being only one other customer in the restaurant, it took 25 minutes for my order to be ready.
There was only one employee on duty at the time, handling both the orders and food preparation. About 20 minutes into my wait, another staff member arrived, visibly groggy and rubbing his eyes as if he had just woken up.
Overall, while the food was okay, the lack of staffing and slow service made for a disappointing experience.

Recently moved from KW. Always been a South St burger fan. But this location sells the worst tasting burger and i felt the employees are instructed to cheap out on the dressings and topics. Took forever to make my food. I think the older couple who made my food was running the place and they didn’t cook the patty properly. I went up to tell him the burgers didn’t taste good and he just ignored me. Wasted money.

Veggie burger was bland. And south st veggie burgers are good Veggie cheese burger where cheese is not included in the price.. that’s normal right They ask you choose the toppings at the counter where you can see the topings.. another good franchise ruined by bad ownership (gujju cough cough) Find a different south st location

Just had lunch here today. Worst spot to have a burger and fries. For $20 for a small burger , fries and water, you left still hungry. The burger was like having one of those frozen burgers you take from your freezer. No taste to it. I’m shocked this chain is still in business. Will never come back and waste my $$ , so many better places to buy a good burger

The fries were cold and the burger was over cooked. Their pepsi is not actually pepsi, tastes like the cheap no name brand. The guy making the food here today is rude; he seems miserable with his job.He shushed my son while he was grilling because he was crying for a minute. When I told them I didn’t know that we had to tell the girl at the register the toppings on the burger before hand , he told me in a rude tone “ well we haven’t had that since Covid” “ well the other locations you’ve been to are dead then” I’m never going to this location again.

Had an amazing meal at South St. Burger! The food was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend their Korean BBQ burger—it’s packed with flavor and definitely a standout. Everything was fresh and well-prepared.
However, three burger combos came to about $50, so it’s on the pricier side for a casual burger spot.
I eat at the Argentina Road location often. Great burgers and fries with lots of options for toppings. I have a gluten allergy and they have amazing food preparation protocols in place when preparing gluten free food. Very friendly staff.

We had been to a South St Burger in Markham and had such a great experience with everything being so hot and fresh and wanted to try this location in Mississauga. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed.
The veggie burger patty and fries were just warm and the bun was cool. When we shared this with the server, there was no apology or acknowledgement. He said the fries and burger were served right away and it just wasn't our experience.
It also took longer than expected considering our order was the only one being made. We should've checked out the reviews before going.

Should have known to not go in since the place was deserted. Way over priced for a cheese burger with poutine almost $18. The burger wasn’t even tasty and the poutine so little amount. Never back here again.

1pm on a Tuesday. 1 girl working to cook, take orders and keep the place clean. Only 3 customers and took forever. No ambiance. Cold cavernous building. Wont be back. This is what the $1.50 upgrade to onion rings gets you. Update 2nd staffer came back after 20 mins.
