Came in here and tried to order a BBQ Bacon burger. My usual location is at Don Mills. This location REFUSED to put free toppings I was requesting on the burger because “it’s already a signature burger”. I only asked for like 4. They’re free toppings for a reason, walked out and went straight to Hero Burger across the street. Lost a sale and ANY future sales because of a stingy manager or franchisee or whoever the short old dude is. Ridiculous. Charging $15 for burgers but can’t put caramelized onions and mushrooms on? PATHETIC

The food is great, but the customer service is not quite there.I ordered one of the signature burgers, but wasn't allowed to add any of the "unlimited free toppings" because it wasn't a "custom burger". The signature burgers cost more than a basic custom burger. So...I should order a basic custom burger, add all the premium toppings of that signature burger, pay the same amount as I would that signature burger, so that I can get access to unlimited free toppings?!? That would be fine except I wasn't told until I picked up my burger.

The burgers are a perfect sweet spot between fast food and a gourmet burger. There's so many great topping options, you could build a different burger for each day of the week! The one I made was very good and I'm super satisfied.

The food is great. But the middle aged gentleman working there(maybe manager/owner) is so rude and arrogant. On asking questions he answers as if he is insulting us. Not once but twice we have experienced it. If he faces loss in his business, it’s because of his univiting nature.

I've been to many locations, but I haven't seen anyone more rude than this guy working inside. Buddy straight out, if you dont want business, no worries, many options nearby to eat.Chao?

This chain used to be the burger go to joint. Competition has heated up and taste and service over time has deteriorated considerably since the arrival of new players like Five Guys that knocks them out of the ball park for overall taste. Now with the soon arrival of Shake Shack in Canada will make things more difficult for South Street Burger
Great service, clean environment but the burger was just average.

South Street Burger Co. is a pretty good burger joint for those who appreciate quality ingredients, and being able to customize your burger. They have wide array of toppings and sauces allow for endless customization options. The sides, including crispy hand-cut fries and their new waffle cut fries are really great. Their fried chicken burger was good, not as crispy as I'd like for a fried chicken burger and it is overall more expensive compared to normal fast food joints, closer to almost $20 for a combo, but overall its a pretty good place it you want something better than your standard McDonalds, A&W, Wendys, etc.

I chose the 5oz beef burger with crispy onion, cajun onion, sautéed mushroom, and lettuce. It was tasty. And looked like a real burger with real burger patty showing off between the buns. The fries was great. I got pop as part of the combo. They had pepsi and friends as pop options. My daughter enjoyed the poutine and my wife enjoyed her sweet potato fries. We spent 31 dollars something for the whole meal.

I decided to try a burger from here since I’d never been and it was rated pretty well. I ordered one of their newer specialty burgers (Korean bbq) and was looking forward to it. Once I got home and opened the bag, I realized the burger didn’t look any different than a typical burger, and did not resemble any Korean bbq flavour at all. I’m not sure if they gave me the wrong burger but even so, I was not impressed by the quality of the patty and bun. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Made the mistake of ordering the True North burger not realizing it no longer came with choice of toppings. Server was very rude when nicely questioned about it. Food Luke warm.Vegetarian options: Veggie burger option.Parking: Enough parking
