Studio.89 is a really great spot: excellently situated, easily accessible, beautifully designed, friendly staff, and great food. And though the Butter Chick'n Sandwich tasted nothing like my distant memory of actual Butter Chicken and wasn't quite as filling as I would have liked, it was really yummy and I would happily eat it again. A great ethos, a great place. Thank you for filling the vegan void in meat loving Mississauga. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-27

Cafe is nice and clean however, the drinks are not the best for me. I mostly came to have a nice environment and to play with game boards. The selection was not the best and however also had to pay for parking, which is kind of annoying especially when food/beverages did not meet expectations.

The coffee here is great! Had a iced coffee and a hot brewed coffee and they both tasted great!!! The service was really friendly and good.
I would recommend this to others! 100%

HIDDEN GEM ALERT. No gatekeeping, I’m not from around here and was meeting with a couple financial and real estate peers. THEY told me this is the “client secret” spot as it’s sold to the condo complex it’s embedded in as a coworking spot.

I couldn’t take a picture of the beautiful patio with accessibility friendly multi-modal seating. Just as I took a pic of my book and this beautiful memorial ❤️…my clients arrived.

Great food. Solid espresso and juice options but it’s the bright warm atmosphere inside and out that makes this a GEM.

And underground heated/cooled parking.

Tucked inside a condo building, this café isn’t easy to spot from the road, but it’s a comfortable place once you’re in. The ambience is calm, with people often working on laptops. Seating includes both couches and chairs, plus a few spots outside.

I ordered a mocha, and it came in a large mug — much bigger than most places — and served hot. Great value for the price. While the location isn’t very visible, it’s worth a visit for a quiet coffee break.

Great space with all vegan options! Always awesome to support a local nonprofit/social enterprise.

Wifi is so bad, I was not able to sit here for longer than 30 min.
Unfortunately I also paid for a parking ticket.
What a waste of time/money and energy coming here.
Haven’t been here since march 2020. Won’t be back here again.

Great beverages. Love that everything can be iced. Nice bagel. Banana bread is delicious. The cupcakes could use some tweaking, but with a tea they still work quite well. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff.

Delicious vegan sandwiches and baked goods, fair trade coffee, beautiful space and friendly service! Did i mention it's a not for profit?! Great community spot w the exception of parking which is a paid lot ... or you can park at the mall across the street 🤷🏼‍♀️

This cafe has great vibes and atmosphere, the service was amazing and overall the aesthetic of studio.89 was amazing. The prices were standard at around 6.00 for a small drink, iced or hot and great for vegans. Unfortunately that’s about it for good aspects, as the drink was subpar. I ordered an iced London fog with oat milk and the drink was not good at all. Service took a very long time even though there was no one in front of me, however it was clear that one barista did not know what they were doing (most likely a new hire) so I wasn’t too upset with that. The drink tasted like oat milk only and I could barely taste the earl grey or the tea flavors for a London fog. They are basically serving a glass of oat milk for over 5 dollars. In my opinion not worth it u less you only care about atmosphere.
