I’ve been a loyal Subway customer for many years and usually enjoy having soup with my meal. Today, when I ordered soup, I was told the only option left was a small chicken soup. I accepted it, but as soon as I had the first sip, it tasted very sour and clearly spoiled.
I immediately told the staff and asked for a refund, but instead of taking my concern seriously, she dismissively repeated that another customer had ordered a larger soup earlier without any complaint. I explained that other customers’ experiences don’t change the fact that mine tasted bad and could make me sick. She refused to process a refund and said I could only exchange it. Since I truly couldn’t eat the soup, I ended up exchanging it for a small bag of chips.
What disappointed me the most wasn’t just the spoiled food, but the lack of professionalism and customer service. The staff showed no empathy, no respect, and didn’t even offer an apology. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning to this location.🤮
