Desserts are not good like it used to be. Crepes mangoes are so hard to chew, Macha shredded ice was bitter, my kids could eat it.

asked for a taro milk tea with no ice and 100% sugar and they gave me a bitter, white taro milk tea with ice and no sugar at all. The colour of the milk tea looks like a taro root

This was one of the most interesting dessert experiences ever! My first time in Canada was not a disappointment at all because I've never had an egg waffles but now I'm craving them again! Also the donut we got to sample after was AMAZING! I can't wait to come back ??

Was there 10ish at night, but already many things were running out including utensils. The hot food menu was ok. The ice cream bowl was pretty generic and the portion was big, I didn’t want to finish.

We ordered Black sticky rice with sweet sesame soup, Taiwanese delight, and brown sugar milk tea pudding and they are all amazing.

The pudding is especially impressive by its firmness.

The takeout order of Yangzhi Manlu, which cost 13 dollars, only had so much to open. It even included an additional portion of durian, which is sky-high in Toronto.

Ordered on Uber, and I cannot believe what I received. One of the order was black sticky rice with taro and pearl delights. There were no pearls, no taros, but mango. MANGO??? The mango it’s not even eatable…Hello, can you please read your order. Tell me these are the samething….. don’t recommend this place, food was not fresh.

Had a lovely late evening visit here with a friend for their birthday. We ordered a platter for sharing and two coconut milk desserts with fruit. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed polishing off our food. The only strange thing that happened was the server offered us single use plastic utensils saying they ndidn't have regular type. Then proceeded to serve other tables with the regular type of utensils. We simply said we'd wait for the regular type as we don't believe in using single use plastic and were given the regular utensils. Not sure what happened there but it would not stop us from coming again. :)

Dietary restrictions: For those who eat halal, be forewarned that all deep fried dishes are fried in the same oil, pork, beef and chicken

Service is non-existent. No cutlery, no plates and you had to ask for them. Dessert came and the guy didn't clear plates either. He was busy picking his nose. Pretty disgusting. Had to get my own forks. Dirty bathroom too. It's a shame cos' we used to love this place.

We had the green tea and red bean shaved ice along with the milk pudding; the taste felt very watered down.

5 yr update: made the mistake of giving this location another chance.

The food was worse than my expectations. I ordered a grass jelly dessert, but the grass jelly and taro I believed from canned food, which drove me crazy. And we wanted a warm (hot) grass jelly which was on the menu not even a extra requirement, they just microwaved the cold one and sent to us?. Couldn’t finish the whole thing because it’s too bad.

I used to come here often. Lately everytime I call, they don’t pick up their phone. I end up driving 20 minutes to get there and their Mango shaved ice is always sold out.

When I arrive they aren’t even that busy they just blatantly ignore the phone. Would save me the trip and disappointment if they just picked up so I can make sure I can get my order of Mango shaved ice.

3 times in a row this happened to me and I just wanted to leave without ordering anything. But was nice enough to spend money on their other dishes.

Great service and staff were very friendly. I got the Mango Pancake Sundae which looked very visually appealing. However there was way too much whip cream inside the mango pancake. It was like I was just eating cream and nothing else. Overall place has a nice atmosphere but the dessert I got did not taste very good.
