Honestly pains me to leave this review but I need to share it for the betterment of the business. We’ve been going to Sumaq since they only had the Scarborough location, owner is an amazing guy, service is great and food was always spot on 10/10. The Mississauga one started off strong and fell off so quick. We eat here frequently, about three times in a month. The service has gotten rough and messy, always being rushed, always feeling chaotic, one younger guy is always a great server when we’re there, I can’t recall his name, but the food is the biggest pain point. The food we received the last few times was not as good, portion sizes extremely small, they already took the salad off the plates for some of their mixes. They burnt our chicken before and served it, beef pieces extremely extremely small it was sad, no garlic on our plate either, missing potatoes on our plate then when we got them they were extremely mushy, the table behind us was also complaining about service to the manager. Mind you - the place was not as busy as usual, multiple empty seats in the restaurant.
They need to reevaluate the food portion, cooking, service, etc. otherwise this will be problematic for them. Wish them nothing but success, but this was a disappointment.

the food was amazing! The servicewas incredible as the waiters were really kind and helpful. The atmosphere was very nice as there were paintings etched into the wall and there were special lights around. The backgrownd music always hits. Thank you Sumaq
