This has quickly become my go-to spot for ramen. The beef Lanzhou noodles is nothing short of outstanding—rich, flavorful, and truly one-of-a-kind. While the restaurant is not halal, if that’s not an issue for you, we highly recommend paying a visit. On a chilly winter day, it’s the ideal place to cozy up and indulge in a hearty, delicious bowl of ramen that warms you from the inside out. We can’t recommend it enough!

Loved the lamb skewers unique cumin flavor. Bokchoy was fresh too. Definitely a hidden gem. Very affordable as well.

The food was amazing! It was so tasty and I had a great time here. The staff were so happy and friendly because they actually love this job. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes soup with noodles and I will be coming back here soon!

I’m from Montreal, and we don’t have authentic Lanzhou food anywhere. My wife is from Lanzhou, so having visited a few times, I’ve also been craving the food.

This place covers pretty much everything you would want for that Lanzhou flavour. From Lanzhou noodles to lamb skewers, really great. It’s not the best I’ve had, but it hits the spot.

However, the restaurant seating arrangement is very poorly optimized, so we had to wait a really long time to sit. There was also a lot of small flies flying around which was very annoying.

Staff were really really friendly though, always a plus.

I had a great experience at Sun Chinese Restaurant. I especially enjoyed their fresh noodles — I appreciated that they ask for your preference on noodle thickness before preparing your dish. The portions were generous and satisfying.

I tried the fried noodles with vegetables, the beef fried noodles, and the beef ramen. Each dish was flavorful, and the broth in the ramen was particularly well-balanced and rich. Everything tasted fresh and was served hot. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Lanzhou noodle soup was very flavourful. Service always courteous.

Food was so fresh, broth was very flavorful and came with lots of toppings (regular size bowl is quite large, come hungry!). Service was quick and friendly, they were very helpful with preparing a takeway order after we finished eating. Reasonably priced for great quality food, I loved being able to pick what kind of noodle with my soup. Definetly coming back to try more options!

We ordered the braise beef noodle soup and the vegetables noodle soup. Service was fast, the broth was delicious and nice and spicy. You can choose your noodle style and spice level. Definitely coming back here. Really affordable pricing also.
