Good food Great choices and staff are very friendly and polite highly recommended
Absolutely disgusting experience.
Less than an hour ago I almost choked on a hair from one of the cooks. I then recognized that at least 3 cooks weren't wearing hair nets in the kitchen, (one woman and two men). Even the owner who was in the kitchen handling food was not wearing a hair net.
After my complaint, the owner tells the cooks to wear the hair nets even though he is in the kitchen handling food without wearing a hair net, one cook (woman) starts to put on the hair net and gives me a thumb up. I a thumbs up suppose to be a apology for your lack of care for cleanness? Absolutely unacceptable
As I walk up to the counter the owner looks at me and ask me to pay for the meal. THE OWNERS IS REQUESTING THAT I PAY FOR A MEAL WHICH HAD HAIR IN IT THAT WENT INTO MY MOUTH. His lack of care for the cleanliness is exactly why hair is in the food and cooks aren't wearing hair nets. It ends up in a shouting match about me paying for food with hair in it. Hair that went into my mouth.
The owners management was poor and unacceptable. I've been going to this place at least once/twice a month for the past 2/3 years. The owner said he recognized me from coming so often but he still choose to ask me to pay and ends up in a shouting match. Horrible owner for the sunset grill brand. I'll never eat at this location or any other again.
0/10 cleanliness
0/10 health and safety
0/10 customer service
(I am a clean shaven male so there is no hair on my body that long.)

Worst Sunset Grill of the bunch, food is ok but not as good as others SG, like the one in Port Credit & the Beaches. Service is minimal & very loud. Been there twice but never again!

Have been here a couple of times now. Food is good and consistent for the most part.
Service could be more attentive. Today we walked in around 10:30 and was greeted immediately and asked to seat ourselves as normal. After watching for more than 5 minutes staff walk past us and help every other table, including tables that sat after we had arrived, without being offered water or a menu, we had to walk out and go to the coffee culture across from them.
I had a horrible eating experience. Ordered an Egg Benedict, the egg wasn’t poached. It was over easy and the english muffins were pretty hard to cut through. Home fries were pretty solid too. Really disappointed. I have higher expectations since their other locations are good.
A great place- good options, great quality and a friendly ambience.
very pricey
I take my daughter's here for brunch almost every Sunday. Susana always takes great care of us and Abel never lets my coffee cup go empty. We always leave with happy bellies and big smiles. Great food quality and friendly service.
Food is great. I usually get corned beef hash.
However the service is consistently bad. I was ignored and given massive hostility until I provided a 25% tip then the servers(s) became friendly. FYI owner courtesy is expected pre grats not post grats. I've been here at least 5 times. I would much rather take out at this point.
If you want people to come to this location, you must improve your coffee. It was the worst coffee I’ve ever had (and that says a lot). Even after adding milk and sugar it was like drinking tar. Even after asking for a coffee from a fresh pot, it was bad. Perhaps the staff should taste it! This is a franchise so I don’t understand why the coffee is so good at every other location I’ve been to and so bad here. Sadly, it’s the only reason why my family can’t go back. The rest of breakfast was great. So if I had to rate it properly, it’s a 0 for the coffee and a 4/5 for the food and service.

Sent my husband to pick up an online order and they told him it was a different location. Went in myself to verify they said it was a mistake and that it would be 10mins wait. I ended up waiting 1 hr while baby was in the car.
Had an amazing experience. The breakfast , owners and staff are great!
Keep up the good work , you are an asset to the community!
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Sunset Grill located at 507 Lakeshore Rd E Unit 111, Mississauga, ON L5G 1H9, and I feel compelled to share my frustration with others. The owner there is not only deceptive but downright rude when confronted with legitimate concerns.
I ordered a plate of food that included French toast, and to put it bluntly, it tasted like a wet, moldy rag. It was inedible. When I politely mentioned it to the owner, he immediately made me feel like I was the problem, as if I had no right to criticize his food. When I compared it to the French toast from the Sunset Grill at 102 Lakeshore Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5H 2E1(which is actually quite good), he told me, with a smug attitude, that he owns both locations and that my complaint was invalid.
Things got even more suspicious when I asked him about the oil he uses on the flat grill. He first told me there was no oil at all only egg. This is not only ridiculous but also a clear attempt to mislead customers. Later, while paying, I saw kitchen staff pour oil from a metal bucket onto the grill, before placing the French toast down. When I asked him about it, he denied that it was oil and simply refused to explain what it actually was.
I can’t stand dishonest business owners who treat customers like they're disposable and who believe they can serve anything and get away with it. It’s one thing to have bad food, but it’s another thing entirely to lie to your customers and treat them like garbage when they express dissatisfaction.
I will never return to this location, and I suggest others stay away unless you want to deal with a liar who has no respect for honest feedback. Do yourself a favor and visit the other Sunset Grill on 102 Lakeshore Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5H 2E1 where the food actually tastes like it’s been prepared with some care.
We were frequent customers of this place and it is gone downhill badly. We go to different locations of Sunset Grill so are very familiar with how they serve and interact with customers. This one puts a sign up advising you to see yourself. No one greeted us on the way in and we were seated for about 10 minutes before somebody finally came over to ask what would like to drink. Waitress shows up finally after 13 minutes I’m very rudely asks what we want. I asked for the crabcake Benedict because it’s posted in the window and she tells me that it’s no longer available despite the fact that it’s still up on their website as well. She comes back after a few minutes to take our new order. Our food came out in a relatively reasonable amount of time however she doesn’t bother to come back and check on us until we’re done eating. From the reviews we’re not the only ones having the same experience at this place now. There’s something seriously wrong with the way that the employees are interacting. Typically they help each other out that’s not happening here. Their corporate office needs to take a look at some of these reviews and what’s going on in there. We won’t be back.
And for the record, there were only five tables with customers. They had two waitresses plus somebody for the counter.

My wife and I attempted to have breakfast here. Since it was not too busy, we were able to find our own seats. We had waited 10mins without any acknowledgement from any of the servers. My wife had to tell another server where we were sitting so we could place our orders. After doing so, we had waited an additional 30mins and our orders hadn't arrived yet. Again, no server checked on us or let us know if the orders were behind. In between all of that waiting, a server than asked if we 'could do her a favour' by moving tables so that they could accomodate a reservation for a big group. (Apparently they don't take reservations?) At this point we asked if our food is going to arrive soon, and all that we were told was 'it's on the way'. We waited another 5mins, and that was already too long. That is when we left.
Duration of waiting for breakfast: 45mins, no food arrived.
Any sort of communication or acknowledgement would have helped.
