My favourite sushi spot and it’s right in my neighborhood. Food is fresh and I can’t speak highly enough of this place. The owners are so kind. My favourite is their gyoza soup and Boston dragon roll. Try it. You won’t be disappointed ?

Ridiculously small nigiri/sushi portions. I ordered 6 nigiri + spicey salmon (~14 pieces in total), and it was total waste of money for what it was. Do not recommend this place!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is the best sushi shop in Port Credit- the owners are kind and lovely, and the food in terms of taste and portion size is EXCELLENT!! this is now my go to spot for sushi in Port credit ❤️ I wish I took pictures of the food but I gobled it all up - so delicious (also the presentation is truly a work of art)

Well that was the worst experience I’ve had in terms of « poke bowl » and « sushi pizza ». The poke bowl came with an astronomous amount of lettuce, probably to save costs … Oh also no sauce at all. Usually those places put some spicy mayonnaise or other type of sauce. This one gave nothing. And the sushi pizza, what to say .. For 16$ it was ridiculously small. Came to this place as a tourist with good attitude because of the good reviews and left with a very disappointing feeling. Do not go to this place for poke bowl / sushi pizza. To be avoided

I am updating my review. This place rocks now. They have fixed any complaints I had about them and I would highly recommend to anyone who loves sushi to check them out. Do try their sushi.There is only one complaint. If I am coming in to pick up my order. Why present me with a tip option? I am not dining in, nor am I asking for delivery. I am paying for sushi to be made.

I’ve gotten takeaway from Sushi Maki House twice in the past few months. Their food is delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. It’s a little gem in the plaza. I have had some of the more basic rolls, a specialty roll (dynamite topped with crab salad and crunchy bits), sunomono salad, and have tried some soups. All has been wonderful especially the specialty roll and the sunomono salad - it has so many different vegetables beyond the ‘regular’ version I’m used to and the vinegar dressing and seafood makes it extra delicious. Everyone who works there seems very kind too!
