Ordered off Uber Eats. We got half the amount and the dish cost $50. We also ordered the pounded Yam but we got something else instead.
The total was $110 as we ordered two dishes. Uber Eats refused to do anything about the order. I will contacting my credit card company and filing a charge back.

I ordered several times during my short stay in Toronto and the food was always delicious. Unfortunately, my in-person visit didn’t meet the same standard. It took a while for anyone to attend to me after I rang the bell and the lady who eventually came out seemed uninterested and unfriendly. Good customer service adds so much to a great meal experience and I hope they can improve on that. The meals are also quite pricey, so I expected a warmer and more professional service.

I really enjoy the beef suya here and since they opened I’ve been a regular customer because it’s the closest spot to my home that sells authentic beef suya. However, I’ve noticed a constant issue with one of the staff members. Each time I call to place an order, she usually says there’s no suya available and only offers gizzard instead. Yesterday I called at a reasonable time hoping to avoid disappointment but was once again told they had none left. When I asked about it, her attitude was rude and dismissive and she told me that if I want food I should come quickly. It’s frustrating because the restaurant is called Suya Express yet they almost never have suya available. The name doesn’t match the experience and the poor customer service only makes it worse. It’s disappointing because I genuinely liked their food, but this ongoing issue and attitude have completely changed my experience, and I’ve decided I won’t be visiting this location again.

Very very slow service. I ordered ahead of time and still came in and waited for 30 minutes. Customer service was not good. She didn’t apologize just said that she has a lot of orders and walked away. Not to mention with tax, my bill came to over $30 for small meat and plantain

I love Suya city! They have the tastiest Nigerian dishes in the GTA. My complaint however is based on the pricing. I have been a loyal customer for 3 years now and I have seen the prices increase drastically. I ordered Suya city so much that I started budgeting for it, but now it’s almost like a luxury. I don’t order as often anymore because I think the increase in price is a bit too much. I understand that we are facing inflation, but the price increase is even higher than inflation rate.
