Tao Tea Leaf - Mississauga

We arrived at 6:47pm, as you can see top left of my screenshot, they told me they were already closed. Every other stores' Google Maps said 7pm actually closed at 7, but look at them. Fix your staff or management!

The tea here is a little pricier than many places, but it is my go to spot in Mississauga to treat myself to loose leaf tea, getting a gift for someone, or trying something unfamiliar. My favourite teas to buy home are the (award winning) Da Hong Pao oolong, Liu An Gua Pian green tea, Bai Hao (Oriental Beauty) oolong, and Darjeeling First Flush black tea. They sometimes have great sales like after Christmas, and usually take advantage of the opportunity to try some teas I've never had before.

I visited this place with friends after long time. We ordered Darjeeling tea with milk. It was warm water and milk. I have tried this place , when it was opened. It had good tea. Now their quality is gone down and being a specialty tea place, they don’t know how to even make it. It was very disappointing after spending so much money, you couldn’t even enjoy a cup of tea. Will not recommend this place at all.

Just stopped by this place after a long while, I got an Osmanthus Oolong cheese top and it was disappointing. The tea was too light and diluted. We asked the bartender there, he gave us some sample of the pure tea (it was better), dont know what happened in between, but the result was like a cup of diluted cheese top. I couldn’t taste any tea at all! Let me be clear, I have tried 90% of bbt brands in GTA, this particular cup is just BAD.

Absolutely loved my visit to Tao Tea Leaf! Ethan and Justin were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the different teas—they took the time to explain the origins, flavors, and brewing methods, which made the experience both fun and educational. I tried their bubble tea and it was delicious—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and so refreshing. Highly recommend for both tea lovers and anyone curious to learn more. Can’t wait to come back!

We usually look for low caffeine choices, and love their white tea variety and rose bud tea.

I asked them for a printed receipt from the past because I wanted to make a booklet with my friend with all the matcha drinks we tried and they helped me out. I will pick it up soon this week. Their Matcha is very good and the quantity is very good as well. Will come here again and you should also.
