Jasmine Green Tea tastes horrendous.
Great tasting taro milk tea
purchased two boxes of tea for $93 but quickly realized they might not be the right ones. Within five minutes, I returned to request a full refund rather than be stuck with an expensive mistake.
Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employee loudly accused me in front of other customers of opening a box—all because the small tamper-proof tape was loose. Despite my explanation, they only refunded one box and suddenly claimed that two employees had inspected them before my purchase, which makes no sense.
When I defended myself against this baseless accusation, the employee yelled at me again and then had the audacity to say, "I don’t care if you don’t ever come back."
Spending $93 only to be treated this disrespectfully is unacceptable. Customers shouldn’t be accused of something without proof, let alone humiliated in public. Safe to say, I won’t be returning—clearly, they don’t care about their customers anyway.

Very bad experience. The barista was very rude and did not attend to my requests. Super disappointed on how they hire their employees.
This brand in my mind is one of the OGs of bubble tea here in the GTA. And I have not been to one in over 20 years because there are so many options now.
I ordered online because it makes things way easier and smooth. Because I find that if you order in person, it may impact your experience.
The drinks were good 👍 and the tea and flavours were on point. I was happy all in all.

Went there today at square one location with my daughter to grab a drink and server there was rude and disrespectful. Drink that she made was very very sweet, when asked her why is it so sweet? She moew something and then offered some water. Crappie service won't be going back.

I have mixed feelings about Ten Ren's at Square One. The bubble tea flavor is very yummy, which keeps me coming back. However, the service is consistently terrible. The staff are rude and not willing to listen to custom orders. They spend more time giving attitude and often mess up everyone's orders, making a fuss to get them right.
While I enjoy the drinks, the poor service really detracts from the experience. If you're willing to put up with rude staff for a tasty bubble tea, you might still enjoy it, but otherwise, be prepared for some frustration.

The cashier that was working today at 1:22 p.m. with the flower hair clip was quite rude and unhelpful. I was using the tablet to order and I saw that today you had 20% off all drinks however it was not indicated on the tablet that the price was either already 20% off, nor did it say that it was going to apply 20% off. All she said was it's already on there. Naturally I didn't see it so I asked for clarification. So she points at a drink on a menu that I didn't even order and said this is the drink you ordered and it's normally this price. So I told her no I actually ordered something else. So because she is unable to communicate clearly, she decides to get snippy with me instead. What she should have said was the promotional pricing is applied on all the drinks on the tablet, or it could have clarified and said the original price for your drink was this so you are getting the promotional pricing, etcetera. Proton was quite rude and assumed that I was stupid when actually she was unable to communicate or assess accurately what the customer is asking of her
