I was very excited to try the donuts at the Sherway gardens mall. But I had gone into the store this past Saturday and was looking at the types of donuts when the emplyee had asked what he could help with, I replied I am just looking to see what I would like for now. And he proceeded to make a comment to say “ ya Becuse it’s free thats why ” and then turned to his co worker and started laughing. I am not sure what kind of professional work environment this was but it made me feel uncomfortsble and not want to buy anything as he implied for some reason I can’t afford these donuts . Although the donuts look great customer service is the first impression and I do not recommend this place .

I’ve been a fan of the box donut since they opened. And during lockdown it was one of my go to place for special occasions, including my baby’s gender reveal. However, last time I ordered (after it became donut hive and they reduced delivery dates), I found that the donuts were too stale. They were still yummy just not for special occasions or when I want someone to try it cause I have always been talking about how yummy they used to be.

Easy to use/order app, delivery was awesome and courteous, and have lots of variety too choose from, including Vegan options.Want to make it 5stars, but comparing to some of the other speciality donut shops in the area the flavours just weren't too impressive, and prices were a bit steep for the smaller size of donut. Still yummy, but won't go out of my way to go back.

My favourite donut spot has recently undergone a full throttle rebranding, and redesigning of its gourmet donuts, and let me tell you - the changes are worth it! Donut Hive (formerly The Box Donut Canada) has reemerged with their top notch donuts, both in terms of quality and flavour, and truly amped up the variety, fillings and stuffings. And who doesn't love more stuffing?! ?I recently tried three new flavours; Oreo Cheesecake, Brownie, and Blueberry Cheesecake.I have always been intrigued by their cheesecake flavours, but hadn't had the chance to check out till now! I was most excited for their newest flavour - Oreo Cheesecake. This donut is quite simply an Oreo lover's dream. It is stuffed with a delicious Oreo cheesecake cream that strikes the right balance between sweetness and Oreo flavour. The Oreo flavour is just subtle enough to allow other aspects of the donut to shine through (i.e full size Oreo cookie on top that adds a nice crunch, and Belgian white chocolate topping that pairs with the cheesecake very well). Really liked this flavour! ?The Blueberry Cheesecake was truly a venture out of my comfort zone, but it looked so good, I had to give it a shot! And... I really loved this flavour! The Blueberry cheesecake cream filling was super flavourful and refreshing! I found it complimented their donut base perfectly. This makes me excited to try their other fruit options as well - Strawberry Cheesecake anyone? ?Brownie is a revamping of their original Brownie Boom donut that was essentially the same, but with a Belgian milk chocolate topping instead of white chocolate. This donut is filled with a delicious chocolate cream that compliments the soft brownie bits on top perfectly! Using white chocolate also allowed for more of the caramel flavour (from caramel drizzle topping) to come through, and I enjoyed that!Congrats on the start of what is bound to be an incredible new donut journey! I did not love these donuts to be honest. It cost around $10 for two donuts and they were not that fresh or flavourful - maybe it was just the flavours I chose, not too sure. Overall, I just didn't find these donuts worth the price. I would not go back here as there are many other donut shops in the area that are better and cost way less.

Just !WOW!Im from the U.S and we love our donuts.So trust me when I say that Box Donuts is changing the game, when they went from circles to squares. Which makes the entire experience so much more fun to eat! Also the unique flavors they have are off the charts! This place needs to be in everyone sweet tooth arsenal.

I'm disappointed how their employee running their instagram handles customer service. My friend ordered SIX donuts to be delivered to my house on my birthday. And here is how they handled it wrong:1) it was left on my steps in the rain in front of my porch that has an enclosed glass area before our actual door that could have been left in there2) no one knocked or rang the doorbell so it sat on the steps until we left the house to bring my dog to the vet. which was apparently two hours.3) the box was ripped and wet because it wasn't placed in the plastic bag properly (you can see the rain stains on the photo from when i got back from the vet)4) there are FIVE donuts instead of SIX5) whoever runs their instagram refuses to assist my friend who ordered this delivery

Customer service and website leave a lot to be desired. I ordered donuts on one of the first delivery dates for my area at the start of the pandemic, things went smoothly. The next time I ordered they rescheduled in me 3 times due to missing ingredients. I ordered after they knew this, but they didn’t post anything about it on their website and still allowed orders through their system. At this time they didn’t have special delivery dates. I ordered again, put my town in and was given a delivery date of a few days later. I received an email again, this time telling me I couldn’t get my order that day, even though the website had allowed it. I said fine, but pointed out that their website had allowed this and was berated for not reading the (very hard to navigate) website. When my order finally did arrive, two of my donuts had been replaced without my consultation due to a “menu change.” Again, the website allowed me to order these donuts; I don’t see how a menu change would happen in less than a week. The donuts are fantastic, but sadly, I will no longer be purchasing from this company.

I am not rating this place based on service, although i do think the customer serivce can be a bit better. The donuts are delicious! Pricey...but delicious. That is all i want to say.
