I was shocked, very rare for me to give 1 star. I love Korean food but this was the worst.

I paid almost $70 (I honestly don't know why I tipped) for two dishes, chicken and pork katsu. I hate wasting my food & money but this was so bad I didn't even want to take it home. Bland. Even the Spicy Rice Cake didn't hit right.

If I knew I was going to spend this much I would've went to Gyubee, Wind, etc.

The place was half full with two hours to close. They had 6 large tables left, and we wanted to sit closer to the centre because they stuck us in a corner and it was cold. There were 2 of us, and they sat us at a four person table, yet they didn’t let us switch to another 4 person table closer to the centre, saying it’s reserved for three and more, despite our current table also able to sit three or more. Is it because they think I can’t speak Korean? Is it because there’s only 2 of us so stick us in a corner? I left because of the ridiculous logic they gave. I’m sure no 4 person group came afterward. Lost a returning customer here.

After trying so many Korean restaurants, it’s safe to say this sits at the top. I’ve ordered from Fantuan and I’ve dined here at all hours & the portions, side dishes and flavours are the best.

We used to love this place because we love their food. We’ve always given them 15% - 18% tips despite of their service was not really good (most of, not the young guys). One time we came, I was nicely just asking “ May I have a table for 6 “ and the boss or manager (i guess), who didn’t even respond or look at me, get a peace of paper and write something down. I was asking the 2nd time about how long is the waitlist but he was still not answering, not looking at me and just gave me a number and walked away. How rude is this place ? and I probably never come back !
