This actually made me sad to see. I grew up LOVING Fire Pit. This was not the place I remembered. There's so much tape holding together the furniture that it should've been a sign for us to turn around....but we ordered anyway. The gravy was disgusting, the bun on my son's hotdog was rock hard, my burger on a Kaiser came without a Kaiser, and the fries were so burnt they were inedible. It truly pains me to say this was the worst meal I've had in years. Definitely our final visit. :(
I used to come here all the time. I guess they have new owners.I ordered onion rings a poutine and a chicken greek saladThe onion rings were burnt. The poutine wasn’t badThe salad had barely any lettuce so definetly not worth 15$ and change. and my dressing was forgotten so when I got back to work I couldn’t even eat it.And the gentlemen taking my order could barely understand English. Not very impressed this used to be my go to spot.
One of my favorite dine in spot at Mississauga. Visited the place after a long time and I can feel the same old taste and excellent customer service of staff. A major hub for students of Lambton...Hats off to the management and staff....Keep up the good work.
Came here for some fish & chips, the service was fairly quick. The fish wasn’t bad but the fries were quite stale. I have never had fries that stale served to me ever.
I tried the sovlaki and salad. It was awesome and yummy. Good portion, worth for the money. The service was also really good, will be in my prior list.
Not the best. Ordered a chicken souvlaki with salad and salad had no feta and no tzatziki sauce. The dressing was a balsamic. Very expensive too
Bought the banquet Burger yesterday... 2 hours later I had an extreme fever insomnia and felt like I was going crazy. Went to the doctors the next day and they said I either got a viral infection or food poisoning. I can't say for sure that it's from here but I felt fine before. The food looks like it was cooked hours in advance and I felt like the fries were refried. Even the sauces had crustiness on them. I'd highly recommend going to another place. Should have went to Wendy's across the street, would have been a much safer bet...
I’ve been coming to this place for many years since I was younger. It was always amazing and fresh.Unfortunately, this place has drastically changed over the years. The burgers and meat was always juicy and fresh, and the place was busy always at very time of the day.My wife and I popped in and I ordered a cheeseburger combo and my wife had the pork souvlaki dinner.Washrooms: Dirty, outdated and dark.Dining Area: Old, needs serious renovations, fruit flies visible. This place needs to be redone right away.Food: Cheeseburger was decent… not great like it used to be. The bun was cold, the burger patty was small, and it was like a burger you would get at a school bbq. The fries were greasy and tasted like they were fried in old, used oil.The pork souvlaki was like leather. Overcooked and tasteless. The tzatziki sauce was bland, like with no added flavour it tasted like plain yogurt that was old. The salad was doused in what tasted like vegetable oil and the feta cheese was off, like it was old old old.So disappointing that this place has fallen so below par of being operational. I’m confident that if public health goes by this place would be closed down.We left smelling like old grease. Never retuning again.
Somethings changed about Fire Pit since 2018. The service is slower and the food isn't the same. The decor reminds me of a previous time where there were long line ups, laughs, and everyone knew your name. It seems to unfortunately been left in the past.
Tried it for the first time and I can say it'll definitely be the last.I was hoping for cheese curds but I believe they use shredded cheese.. but hey great price ??

I had the cheese burger combo, it was really nice. The burger was so big that I couldn't finish my fries. Good food with affordable price.
Amazing place! Just like how it always is. These poor workers are SOOO busy yet they make you feel like you are the Centre of attention. They truly care for their customers! Despite the fact there was a line up and many UberEats and Skip The Dishes, they are working their hardest and best! 10/10. Will be back! Note: everyone please ease up on the workers, the whole world is short staffed!!!!!
I used to love this place but lately I see new people working here. New owners? I don't know but it looks like these new people don't have a clue how to run a restaurant. Fries were way over cooked to a dark dark brown. They didn't start cooking my order until the customer before me was totally finished as if they could not handle cooking an extra order on the grill. When they cooked my souvlaki they brought each piece of souvlaki from the grill to the bun on the condiment area (about 5 feet away) one piece at a time and in the process dropped one piece on the floor. The wait time for my order was excruciatingly long and there were only 2 people ahead of me with their orders already taken when I got there. Really gone downhill. I won't be coming back unless I see the old owners.
This used to be THE go-to spot in Mississauga. "Used to" being the key phrase. Onion rings and fries now taste like the oil hasn't been changed in months-years? Who knows how long it's been but they're horrible. Gyro used to have sauce (tzatziki???????) now is completely dry. Somehow the entire outside of the pita was more wet than the inside. Place has gotten horrible horrible horrible
The food was good but the restaurant needs a refresh. An Employee took the order quickly but after order taking they were talking in their language and didn't say much after. The bathroom key system was a bit gas station like. The faucet in the men's washroom needs a fixing.
