Pathetic little place with most rude reception and no one to help with order or serving. I was amazed at the staunch racism at the place where being the only brown person sucks and feels so invisible. The place needs attitude check and hygiene check and service check from the government to knock some senses. Waited like a invisible small person for 20 minutes for a table and then another 20 minut s for the food and then no water , no ketchup or anything to eat the tasteless food. The place is dirty with sticky tables , and blatant racism and unwelcome environment. Don't ever recommend for anyone with a hint of melanin in skin for ruining their day. Worst 40 dollars ever spent in my whole life.

Took almost am hour to get food and the waiter said that there was a mess in the kitchen. The tables are dirty. The spinach dip that I've ordered has no taste.

Service was spot on! Didnt miss a beat, even running solo with a busy bar. Knew the menu with depth. Gave great suggestions for gluten-free food! and the Canadian version of a Bloody Mary, a Bloody Caesar-deliscious!Beautiful old building, yet clean and obviously cared for. Us visitors felt welcome in an obviously neighborhood gem locals' spot. And the food! You could taste the pride in their plates. I've never had a burger outside my kitchen taste better! Wow ghost burger for the win (went with the holiday appropriate decor). And after one bite my partner had no other desire than to eat every last homemade chili cheese nacho, lol!Well done Franklin House ????! We wish we lived closer.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Standard pub food which is decent but you have to try their breakfast. Massive portions and quite tasty. They didn't have any coffee the morning I ate here which was disappointing, but the food was great. If you're really hungry and like hollandaise sauce, try the breakfast poutine. So good!

The food was salty and average. Poutine was loaded with really thick gravy and you had to wade through it to find a piece of cheese. It was very salty as well. My husbands chicken fingers were salty and average. Caesars were too spicy. We enjoyed the ambiance of the old house feel, but would not return. Staff were great, and the best part of our experience.
