We’ve been eating at The Keg for years. The Argentia location is by far the best one.Our son gets a special visit from the Head Chef every visit!!!! Alex is fantastic!Sometimes he can even get my son to have a steak. ?Marie is also amazing! Have to admit, it’s always better when she’s looking after us. But everyone is really good!In all the years of coming to this location, I’ve not ever had a single issue!!!!10/10You’ll not find a better location if caring, professional, dedicated people.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely awesome with little humans!!

3hr dinner service below par. Went for my son’s birthday. Unbelievable after speaking to the manager the rest of the dinner did not go smoothly. Wasting 3 hours because they were most likely understaffed. Our sides were not even warm. My son’s rib eye steak was also not even warm. Do better Mississauga Argentina location. Very disappointed.

Several gaffs at our dinner last night. We received one wrong plate intended for another table, and the replacement steak was so firm just one bite was exhausting to chew. The lobster was cool and undercooked. We did not get the melted butter accompaniment for the lobster until specifically requested (have ordered this several times, and it is included as a standard before the dish is served). We were told the steak would be comped, but like most issues tonight, the onus was on the customer to point out that it was kept on the bill. Unlike most visits, staff hospitality and warmth were an afterthought tonight.

Our steaks were great, very tender and cooked as requested. Service was good, we prereserved a table on line which was great as we were located far away from the entrance in a quieter area. Veggies tasted good but were much cooler than expected from a place like the Keg. Always love to share a piece of Billy Miner pie.

We went there to celebrate my buddies engagement, but the waiter made us feel so rushed that we could barely have a conversation without him asking us for the next order. But even from the beginning, when we ordered our first drink, he was in such a rush that he forgot one of our drinks. When we asked for it again, he didn't even apologize and said, "Oh yes, I forgot."In the middle of our dinner, he asked if he could take our plates away and I told him I was not even close to finishing my steak and give us more time.He gave us the bill almost immediately after we were done our dinner. We decided to go to another restaurant to have desert and coffee because that wasn't even given as an option there.Very poor service
What a disappointment ?. We took my mother-in-law to the Keg for her birthday, expecting the same mouth-watering steak experienced in past meals. Instead, we got chewy, badly cooked beef that was among the worst meals I have been served. Added to that was bland, dry rice, and scorched vegetables. What has happened to the Keg? I used to love it. Now I will look for alternatives. It was too expensive to be so underwhelming.

I initially had a terrible experience, however the Bar Manager Desiree has graciously reached out a couple of times to follow up with my experience and we had a good conversation through the phone. She was quick to rectify the situation after hearing concerns. I appreciate how she acknowledges opportunities, not making excuses for how my experience went. I’m glad this was solved as this is the location I always go to. Thanks Desiree!
