Discovered this ube obsessed bakery in the square one mall. You can find this place in the food district section. I love ube and it’s hard to find many places that really use the fruit/vegitable. This place has everything. Only downside is that you can’t just buy 1 piece to try before purchasing the large container. My friend had the fruit salad and I can’t remember what I had but it had everything: flan, ube, jackfruit and jellies. You will not find the drinks on their website. You have to order in person. Anyways I do plan to come back and try their baked goods. Heads up this is a store front so there is no where to sit. You purchase and go but there are seats just steps away where diners can go.

It was ok but it doesn’t meet my standard. The ube puto I find it too sweet for me, bukopie is too dry and too thin and the leche flan is ok.
I’ve bought turon and the cookies. For the price they sell them isn’t worth it. The cookies taste like sugar cookies no ube at all. The Turon is just covered with sugar. No flavour and very disappointing. Customer service is fine but I would not go back to buy any of their items.

It was our 1st visit at the bakeshop, although I heard lots of good complement and we decided to try it out. Sweet smiles, even sweeter treats! The bakeshop is a slice of heaven.. 🙂
I ordered the puto and the kakanin platters for my engagement party and I have no regrets! The desserts were beautiful and delicious. A big hit with my friends who had never tried any Filipino desserts before. ❤️ They delivered exactly when they said they would (about a 2 hour window if I can remember). The online ordering system was easy to navigate, and the shop was quick to respond to my questions about allergens. I will gladly re-order when it comes time for my wedding! There was a glitch in the email delivery system about a month before I received my order where it kept sending me confirmations that my order was delivered. I reached out to the team and they quickly responded that this was just an error in their system. My order was unaffected!.So if it happens to you don't worry! My only other feedback would be that it would be really helpful to have a proper lid for the kanakin platter for storage. Overall though, a great experience. Thank you to this lovely shop for making my day special!

Dropped by with my husband for the first time & bought a marble cake . The cake honestly didn’t taste that well and it tasted old. End up throwing away $15 cake. I wouldn't return to this place again.

We had The Purple Bakeshop cater desserts and wedding cake at our wedding! We ordered the ube tres leches, sans rival and cassava cake for the dessert spread. All were amazing and guests kept asking where they were from. Our wedding cake was the classic ube cake made in 2-tiers which also looked and tasted so good. Tim and team were so accommodating with all our requests. Thank you for the delicious desserts and helping us with our special day!

The staff were lovely and friendly. They make the best halo halo in Toronto. The best. I was even lucky enough to meet the owner and told her personally how I love their products.

It was my 3rd time at this location just because I don't live in Mississauga. It'll require a special trip to go here. Love the Ube bars and the calamansi loaf. Bought the Ube leche cake. Ugh!!! So good. Obviously, I didn't take any pictures just because Filipino items disappear here at home. Gets to be eaten quickly, lol....

We got the classic ube cake and it was delicious. Not too sweet (Asian dessert highest compliment). The empanadas are a bit dry but the flavour was delicious. But I feel like the highlight for me is the calamansi loaf. Definitely will return.
