This restaurant is a hidden gem situated inside the Village of Erin Meadows retirement and long term care facility. We often have a lovely meal at The Ruby when visiting our parents. The food is excellent and the chef takes special care to provide a delicious meal. The view overlooks Mississauga and the lake. The serving staff is also very pleasant and attentive.

First of all, I am not racist. Please let me make that clear. So while visiting my mother on the Derry wing today, all the residents gathered around the TV in the common room. while reception was dancing in her chair to her (Calypso Christmas music) which i have never heard in my life. It was sad that all the people that are 70s 80s weren't listening to Bing Crosby singing or enjoying music from their eras. they we actually forced to listen to this as they cant move on their own. My understanding is the tvs are for the residents, not the receptionist. I was very disappointed.
